Hi ~ I wanted to let you know that my dear sister, Tammy, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She had gastric bypass surgery on June 27, came home from the hospital on June 29th and passed away in the early morning hours of June 30th.
I'm not exactly sure of Tammy's username (something like "texaswarriorprincess") Tammy often talked about her involvement in this site and our family felt we should notify you of her death.
We lost our Dad in October, 2004. I know Tammy shared the news w/ you of my Dad voting prior to his death. He voted from the back of an ambulance while in hospice care.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden death. She is survived by our Mom, 2 sisters, one brother, and her two daughters.
Please pray for our family.
I'm so sorry, DL. Prayers for your family, too.
My heartfelt condolences to your family. Thank you for sharing this news with us. I pray that you all feel the comforting arms of our Savior during this time of grief.
OMG jonny..I just logged on and checked my pings...I cannot believe this!
Prayers sent for Tammy's children and your family.
She will be missed here.
How sorry I am....texasflower had a lot of friends here, including me....Im so saddened.
Prayers for all....
Prayers for the consolation of family and friends, and the repose of her soul in heaven.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear of your sister's death. I well remember her posting the story of your father's determination to vote for President Bush before he passed.
Please accept my deepest condolences, and, prayers for your family.
Pinging the Dosers to this sad news.
Maybe I should not, but I will. Below is her beautiful, almost angelic seeming, visage from her page. She looks in splendid health, and no doubt was. It reminds us that each day is precious, and we should make the most of every one of them that we are blessed to live, because the sudden and expected can happen, anytime and anyplace.
I wish Texasflower's family and yourself my condolences and know that in your grief you will celebrate her life, and her contributions, in a fitting farewell ceremony, but not a final farewell, because she will be with you in your hearts, always and forever.
This is very sad. What a vibrant, contributing, beautiful woman we and the world have lost.
It's just not fair. My heart goes out to you. A great loss.
My heart goes out to you Johnny. It is so sad. Her picture shows what a beautiful spirit she is.
(((((((((((((((((( you ))))))))))))))))))))))
How tragic! How sad! It is so hard to believe! She was such a vibrant person and we will never forget her story of your Dad.
I am so so sorry.
It is difficult to put into words, difficult to form thoughts that will ease your pain, and that of her 2 daughters and your Mom. But I do hope our thoughts will ease you through the difficult days to come, and that knowing that she and your dear Dad are together will soften your grief.
Thanks for the ping Faith.
Sincere condolences T4B. This is just sooo sad. Prayers for your family through this difficult time.
Thanks.
Prayers, indeed.
Prayers for the whole family. She will be missed.
I wish I had some better and more comforting words. Like someone else said- we cry for our loss, but Tammy is experiencing joy and love we can not even fathom. Knowing her, she is probably putting in a good word for all of us stuck down here. It doesn't make the sting of loss any less, but I try to keep in mind that someday she will be there to greet me when my time comes.
Take it easy, sweetie and know I'm thinking about you.
We are all sorry to hear of your sister's passing and thank you for notifying us. I will remember you and your family in my prayers.
