Well, can't we just imprison him, shoot him, and THEN deport him?

Let me get this straight: We manage to catch a very high-ranking member of the most violent gang in the western hemisphere, and we're going to throw him back? And he won't come back to haunt us because...?

Hmmmm, I wonder how he came to be in the U.S.?

I wonder what's going to prevent him from being # 1,738,256 of next year's 3,000,000 entries into our nation.

Actually I don't wonder at all. NOTHING at all will prevent it.

Lester Rivera Paz, 29, of Honduras, is expected to be deported after completing his sentence.

Whew, that's a relief. It should deter him from ever coming back again. /s

Insert a tracking devise under his skin and let him lead us to the rest of the gang

This is cruel and unusual punishment, indeed!! By jailing him and THEN deporting him, we are forcing him to obtain his next OFFICIAL identity outside the US. We'll send him to Hondouras. He'll escape/be released and go through Mexico.

He'll either have to buy an offiicial identity in Mexico or sneak (take a limo) back across the border into the US. He'd by an official Mexican identity at a Mexican consulate and then melt into the world of gangs until he is caught. My bet is that between the time he is released from his 7 month sentence until the next time he is arrested in the US, he'll kill, personally, between 6 and 22 people.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it's costing American taxpayers 50K$ a year to incarcerate prisoners.
I think we should deport ALL the illegal alien prisoners (which make up a THIRD OF ALL PRISONERS) except for maybe those on death row...sure would save BILLIONS A YEAR and would open up slots for American criminals running around the country unabated.
Of course, it would all be in vain until we SECURED the borders & ports.

Semper Fi,
Kelly

Should we give this guy amnesty?

You are in favor of it for every other criminal illegal alien.

What's to prevent him come coming back any time he wants to?

If he planned the deaths of 28 people, why not kill him?

The death penalty needs to really be brought back, not just pretend.
