Or, rather, two expedient opportunities, which could mean a 'conciliatory' gesture, i.e. such as playing it down the middle, e.g. nominating one (1) conservative, and then one (1) moderate/lib swing voter, to appease both sides and to be 'nice' and 'kinder', and 'gentler' to attempt to keep the enemy happy (which they won't be and neither would conservatives).
