Galloway's answer for terror remains appeasement, plus pile blame on America and GW, Jews in general and Israel in particular. Let's not forget Saddam paid him under the table, too. What's interesting, in the face of this carnage and horror -- the measured reactions of US govt. officials and the stunned looks of British reporters and the mayor of London. US officials are offering help, prayers, whatever they need, but not one word about We Told You So.
One British reporter on MSNBC last night actually uttered the fateful words, that Bush and the US had been right all along. He looked as if he'd been hit in the head with a shovel. This was echoed by another reporter on the panel on Brit Hume's show last night, along with grim warnings about Muslims outbreeding native Europeans and probably by 2020, will outnumber Christians and Jews, and that many Dutch are already fleeing Holland.
London has a large Muslim population -- wags call it Londonistan -- and several of the terrorists who've set off bombs or tried to in the US were British citizens. Travel to the US from Britain is easy, hardly any checks. This is very worrisome. Britain allowed Muslims to basically do and say whatever they pleased, preaching hatred and the violent overthrow of the govt. at the local mosque, etc. Presumably this will change.
And that fool mayor of London, who said, during GW's last visit to Britain, that GW was the most dangerous person on the planet (a raving warmonger), is now eating his words. He looked shocked and said with great surprise, "They're attacking the little people." Talk about a complete idiot.

You're correct about that Mayor. He was like "terrorists are targeting innocent people! When did THIS happen?"
If those same terrorists had assassinated George W. Bush on that same street, the reaction would have been "Eh. What're ya gonna do? Some people need killin'."

With all due respect, what have you been smoking? The liberals are not going to give up THAT easily! This has already been turned around into "Blair's fault" for helping that "bad Bush man". There is no solidarity. That ended before the bodies were cold. Look at Huffington. Look at KOS. Atrios. They command about one million "intellectuals" between them who read blogs. They think they have us on the ropes about our "flypaper theory" because a few suicide bombers found it easier to blow themselves up in London now that the Iraqi police are getting good at stopping foreigners in Baghdad. The British bodies were still warm when the leftists were having orgasms about Bush's failed flypaper strategy. Note the word "theory" has crept in like "the (very real) domino effect" became "domino theory" in their vocabulary. The media will pick up their phraseologies. If the media dares to talk about the flypaper effect (which runs the danger of explaining to the public an important reason for going into Iraq), it will be in terms of Flypaper "theory". And the media will make sure that the London attacks forever count as the total refutation of the "failed Flypaper Theory." Historian professors will tell college coeds 20 years from now (our daughters) that the London attacks were proof of the evil right wing's failed policies. They will be able to talk like this because we would have "won" against the Islamists but not against our own leftists.
Look at the Queen's pathetic statement today. Look at the way EVERYONE is treating this like a criminal incident. I would have thought Syria's assets would have been frozen this morning. But Nooooo! That would be in a logical world. We are still in 1936. The Kristallnacht just happened. Liberal Britain is nervous but still miles away from actually doing anything meaningful to stop the menace before it is too late. Look at Andrew Sullivan and all those pathetic stories we've been seeing about how the Brits aren't "talking about it" because "they're used to this" and how "British" it was that three young men in a pub were reading the sport section of the papers while the TV blared about the terror attacks. They have their heads in the sand. They're food for the Morlocks or the Martians depending on what HG Wells book you've been reading lately.
And the really sad thing is that we are going to win against the Islamists but, therefore, LOSE against the left which will blame us for the victory. The left will see all the security and take it for granted. They will say that we never needed to be so bellicose and violent. They will say that Madrid and London shouldn't have happened but did because liberals weren't in power to make the world safe in a less messy fashion. I am serious. They will openly say this. The British left did this to Churchill when he beat the Nazis. There was no gratitude. Not at all.
Galloway has a solution. Pull out of Iraq, and hide in your bedroom closet.
His comments clearly rationalize the terrorists motivations while he attacks those like Blair who are fighting them.
Galloway just sickens me beyond words.

Well, he's right. If we just let Islam take over the world, then for the time being these attacks would stop.

The problem with people like Galloway is that their nads never dropped as children. Hell, there are women with lower hanging fruit.
The man is married to arafart's niece. Why he is accorded ANY credibility on this issue is a total mystery.

I've forgotten how the bribery allegations were resolved if they were, but he was certainly accused of being on the take from the muzzies.
