See, Rome is following in my wake!

Not only should you not vote for people who want to kill your babies, you must be prepared for the possibility that they just might want to kill you should they get elected.

Wish these guys'd get a bit more specific on Teddy Kennedy though ~ just boot him out ~ Gad, this should be simple for anyone.

It's about time...Folks like the Kennedys, Kerrys, Durbins, Leahys, Landrues get away with many devout catholic voters who for some reason choose to ignore the fact that these very politicians are almost herectics!

As a Catholic myself, I am ashamed and sadden that so many of our leading pro-abortion politicians are Catholic.

I can only hope excommunications come next....

Hmmmm...I wonder what will happen to the demonrat party if this should happen??? (insert evil laughter here)

Democratic Catholics and Presidential Choice

In June 2004, the total Catholic vote was divided evenly between President George Bush and Senator John Kerry. Both candidates enjoyed a large margin of partisan support. Independent voters were split between the two candidates, and 30% remained undecided.

This is good news. Of course, the Democrats will protest that they're not really in favor of abortion, just the right to have one. I'm sure the fetus appreciates the intellectual distinction. Fortunately the Catholic Church does not.

And it's true. Now watch some stupid liberal bring up an unrelated topic to argue this proclamation.

neglectfulness in the use of correct liturgical vestments, participants wearing unbefitting clothing, or the scant architectural and artistic quality of church buildings.

Like that monstrosity Los Angeles built a couple years back? Doesn't that POS have Aztec designs on the doors or something?

"there exist Catholics who do not understand why they commit a sin when they support politically a candidate openly in favour of abortion or other grave acts against life, justice, and peace."

The pro-abort voter participates in abortion in the same way as the one who wields the knife. There is little moral distinction between the two.

Article 73 of the 88-page document says, "there exist Catholics who do not understand why they commit a sin when they support politically a candidate openly in favour of abortion or other grave acts against life, justice, and peace."

I'm no theologian--I'm not even Catholic, but I see some potential conflicts with this doctrine. How does this cut for a Catholic who supports a candidate who is not pro-life because of that candidate's position on, say, taxes or foreign policy? Should this person throw his support to the pro-life candidate even if he disagrees with the pro-life candidate on every other major issue? A candidate's position on abortion is obviously a deal-breaker for some voters. Is the Church saying it should be a deal-breaker for every Catholic?
