Interesting point. We were told that capturing Saddam would stop it. That was wrong, obviously. The difference is, Osama is actually a ringleader of a terror group - Al Quada - that hit us on 9-11 and is still hitting the West (London bombing is speculated to be Al Quada, as was MAdrid). Getting the ringleader is usually standard strategy when going after criminal elements.

In your belittlement of other freepers you ask them to cite polls which show citizens supporting the Iraq conflict.

Polls........with reputations like Zogby........LOL.....how about LATimes......CNN.....LOL!!!!!! Al-jezeera polls or maybe even Sean Penn's latest musings could also work.

Are you saying you believe these polling sources are "across the board" trustworthy or can you supply all of us silly, simple people other empirical data to support your claim that Americans oppose the Iraq campaign. Like maybe your published research on workplace or shopping center polls you have done:)

You have been around for a few years. Coming into this venue citing polls (which through observation of FR posting history) of dubious validity to bolster a claim you know people here dispute either completely or to some degree......
