The above asked you:

"Please explain how capturing Osama is going to stop this?"""

"Interesting point. We were told that capturing Saddam would stop it. That was wrong, obviously......."

In your belittlement of other freepers you ask them to cite polls which show citizens supporting the Iraq conflict.

Polls........with reputations like Zogby........LOL.....how about LATimes......CNN.....LOL!!!!!! Al-jezeera polls or maybe even Sean Penn's latest musings could also work.

Are you saying you believe these polling sources are "across the board" trustworthy or can you supply all of us silly, simple people other empirical data to support your claim that Americans oppose the Iraq campaign. Like maybe your published research on workplace or shopping center polls you have done:)

You have been around for a few years. Coming into this venue citing polls (which through observation of FR posting history) of dubious validity to bolster a claim you know people here dispute either completely or to some degree......
well, you certainly seem to like conflict.

BTW, "Interesting point. We were told that capturing Saddam would stop it. That was wrong, obviously......."

Hmmmmmmmmm......we were told capturing Saddam would stop Islamofacist behavior?????..........hmmmmmm.......

Get that statement from a poll? :):)

Or where were we told this???

With this tool-like claim and your condescending "polls are fact" mentality........poof goes your "FR stree cred" at least on this thread!

BTW Church...I am not going to do ANYTHING in the way of researching polls etc....

I prefer to remain stupid and uninformed as you view most of us here on this thread.......after all, you are the one with all the vital research to support the various "most people..." statements you claim.

Got to go work.

You seem like you are in flamemode to those who engage you here.

Instead just answer the BTW question and maybe you can resuscitate that "cred" issue

I'm saying I haven't seen a poll, from any source, that says the majority of Americans now support the Iraq invasion. Have you? If you're going to say that polling is a worthless science, you'll get an argument from every successful politician and marketing exec in the country. In fact, it was precisely because the polls show support for the Iraq invasion waning, that Bush made his televised address a couple weeks ago. The White House accepts that polls have some validity -- especially when they all point a particular way on a particular issue, as they do on Iraq.
