A screen grab shows a statement posted on an Islamist web forum by the previously unknown
Al-Qaeda-linked group, 'The Organisation of Al-Qaeda Jihad in Europe', claiming the July 7,
2005 attacks in London. A group calling itself the 'Organisation of Al-Qaeda Jihad in Europe'
has claimed responsibility for the attacks in London and threatened similar ones in Italy,
Denmark and other countries with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.(AFP/HO)
Very well said.
Whoopie, 1 out of how many? Tell me, would you like to reduce the threat from these savages by 99.999% by profiling, internment or whatever else it tales or would you like to do the P.C. thing so we can avoid OFFENDING any of the assh*les and their lefty brethren? There's also Bosnians, Indonesians, sub-saharan Africans, Filipinos, Chechnyans, and half-Russian Afghanis.
Leaving aside the ethical aspect except to say that internment based on race or religion is pretty much against everything America stands for, racial profiling would be counterproductive. Our most dangerous enemies are the smartest ones. If we focus on "swarthy males", guess who they will use as their operatives.

I think that the G8 meeting has more to do with it, too much planning involved.

New New York City was on heightened alert Thursday morning following a series of apparent terrorist attacks on London's public transit system.
Increased police coverage of subways, buses and transit stations was ordered throughout the city.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly was meeting with police officials and executed other security plans, a law enforcement source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Associated Press.
"We cannot live in fear. The greatest way to deter terrorism is to continue with our way of life," Gov. George Pataki said on WNYW-Fox 5 News. "Let the police deal with security and be alert.
Report any suspicions but continue to enjoy the greatest society the world ever created."
An executive order signed by Pataki allows Connecticut and New Jersey law enforcers to ride on New York mass transit, including Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North and PATH trains, said Pataki spokesman Dave Catalfano.

Add my thanks as well.
It was a heck of way to wake up this morning - my FI woke me from a dead sleep at 5 am because he knew I would want to know what was going on.
I know it's silly but I can't stop remembering 'it starts in London'
bastards

"U.S. Urges Vigilance for Transit Systems"
Updated: Thursday, Jul. 7, 2005 - 8:58 AM
By LARA JAKES JORDAN
Associated Press Writer
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON (AP) - The Homeland Security Department asked authorities in major cities Thursday for heightened vigilance of transportation systems after a series of explosions on London transit systems.
President Bush, in Scotland for a meeting of the Group of Eight leaders, conferred in a secure video conference with national security and homeland security officials in Washington.
"I instructed them to be in touch with local and state officials about the facts of what took place here in London," Bush told reporters from a summit of world leaders here. Bush said he urged caution "as our folks start heading to work."
In New York, Washington and several other major cities, local authorities heightened security in transit systems."

Thanks for the good news about snugs. I passed it along to the Dose prayer ping list.
"That's one thing about FR, the thread never stays on the subject...
Sometimes it is a good thing, other times..."
I know. And this is NOT one of those times...IMHO...to go off on unrelated rants. :D
She's right about the leftists will be out in force blaming the U.S. shortly.
yup , the borders[what F**KIN' borders??] seem worse even with the Patriot Act
Prayers that you will hear from your sister soon.
Who can blame you?
((hugs))
Thanks, that looks like it may be a qal3ah screen.
I appreciate the graphic there.
No. It is a result of failure to deport them, which should have happened long ago.
We have, in the U.S., foreign-born Mohammedans known to be hostile to America, and we continue to keep them in our country. Why?

Read my history, been there - done that, twice. Got nothing to prove skippy.
Thanks. I'll copy that and send it to a couple of people I know.
God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God Save the Queen.
O Lord and God arise,
Scatter his enemies,
And make them fall.
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix
God Save the Queen.
Nor on this land alone,
But be God's mercies known
From shore to shore.
Lord, make the nation see
That men should brothers be,
And form one family
The wide world o'er.
Thy choicest gifts in store
On him be pleased to pour
Long may she reign!
May she defend our laws
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen.
We are all Citizens of London today...
The MSM is now back tracking to the old arguments of vulnerabilities of US and UK instead of what they should be demanding, harsh retaliation.
Thank you!!! My sis has gotten back to the hotel!! I told them all to stay there!
