Continued Prayers for Our Troops.
May the commando be found quickly.
Gee, I wonder why the Pakistanis don't send a couple of battalions over to help us in Pakistan? Wouldn't it be in their best interest to fight terrorists?
Bomb the enemy wherever he hides, period.
The game is starting to get rough. The enemy (domestic) will demand immediate surrender.
Looks like the relief Chinook flew into a prepared field of fire. The ground patrol was brought under fire at that place and time so that the relief Chinook, following a predictable pattern, would be destroyed. Probably an ambush at the intended landing zone. The country probably was chosen so that ambushes could be set at all usable landing zones. Reminds me of the old days.
The enemy (foreign) ran a pretty good operation. Looks like we have become predictable.
Time for a little "tit for tat", or, vulgarly, "payback time". Bet you there has been plenty so far. Bet you there are a bunch of good men on the ground taking care of business this second. Your mind is your most important weapon.
#2 was the SEAL assault on Patilla Airfield during Operation Just Cause. They lost four men.

Would a V22 Osprey have helped here ?
And God, please forgive this country for letting the State Department abandon Matt Maupin, and Michael Speicher, and my guy, Col. Standerwick, and all the others we've administratively killed and officially forgotten.
God, please protect any of our troops who are right now in the midst of our enemy. Give them the fortitude to come home safe and sound.
Lt. Gen. James Conway, director of operations for the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, described the shot as "pretty lucky."
Yep. "pretty lucky".
