Flagstaff, Arizona 4th of July Parade !

"For Republicans, every day is 4th of July. For Democrats every day is April 15th" - Ronald Reagan.

The 4th of July parade was sponsored by the Coconino County Republican Committee, with the help of the NAU College Republicans the participants received a great welcoming; with enthusiastic clapping and waving. The GOP shirts were very popular !

That's a very optimistic quote from Ronald Reagan, but it's a little dated. In 2005, Republicans are the only ones who pay taxes.

LOL! How true. I'm surprised I haven't seen that quote before; it's a good one.

AWESOME photos . . . thank you for your commitment to the cause!

I was invited to ride on Jean Schmidt's float today; unfortunately, a family commitment prevented me from doing so. [NOTE: Jean is running as the Republican candidate to replace Rob Portman in the 2nd Congressional District, Ohio . . . The election will be held on August 2 (low turnout races make me VERY nervous)!]

McCain is NOT well liked here either, but I would rather have McCain over ANY democrat running for Senator here.
