The above url is the blog site of that sick bas**rd, Joe Duncan who was caught at Denny's with one of his victims. He went by fifth nail.
There are several entries there. The last blog was in May but I saw that around 500 people have left messages since he was caught.
Hi, letusprey in Homer!! I drove down to your area the summer before last and volunteered to work the gate at the Ninilchik fair. A couple of girlfriends from Outside came up so we got together down there where another friend lives. What "issue" are you working on? I must be slow today, but that's another "issue". LOL

Why is it that when the media talks about finding Shasta they make no mention of the murdered older brother, mother, and stepfather? Is it just me or does anyone else find this strange. - -
I don't know. I am still wondering how they stayed in the same town for 6 weeks. I thought registered sex offenders
would be among the first checked out when kids are taken.
This is so sick.

I doubt this guy is insane. He is probably a sociopath-the narcissism is there, the I'm not a bad person BS, the litany of justification for his actions.
Some of his musings remind me of a triple murderer I worked with-He was cured by lethal injection courtesy of the State of Texas.
It's time to start denying bail to sex offenders. Also, while I understand that everyone is allowed to be represented under the law, how can any attorney honestly defend this sicko?

I'll be sure to look you up the next time we come down. We've thought about relocating to the Kenai to escape the brutal cold winters but I'm not sure I want to trade cold for rain, and our summers up here are so sunny and even hot at times. Oh well, maybe we'll just live in both places. Have travel trailer, can travel. LOL

I have always had a problem with the justice system and experts defining criminals as insane or not insane. Of course criminals are insane, it's the degree of insanity that should be defined. Some insane people function among society better than others but they're still insane. Some are even amazingly manipulative enough to trick people. And the part about freaks like this sex offender being narcissis is part in parcel with their persecution complex. Part of narcissism is its persecution complex. Narcissis persecuted people can't blame themselves for their bad behavior because that would mean they would have to take ownership, responsibility for themselves. Their twisted logic.
Warrant out for child rapist May 06, 2005
"A convicted child rapist from Fargo charged recently with molesting a 6-year-old boy is the subject of a nationwide arrest warrant for failing to keep in touch with his probation agent.It's believed Joseph Edward Duncan III, 42, is no longer in the Fargo area because the key tag for a vehicle rented in his name was found in a national park in Wyoming, Fargo Police Lt. Tod Dahle said Thursday.

Duncan, whose last known address was 810 7th St. N., Fargo, was charged in Becker County (Minn.) District Court earlier this year with second-degree criminal sexual conduct and attempted criminal sexual conduct.
He is accused in court papers of approaching a 6-year-old boy and his 8-year-old friend July 3 at a school playground in Detroit Lakes.
Duncan pulled down the shorts of the younger boy and touched him. He tried the same thing with the other boy but wasn't able to, according to the court documents.
Duncan appeared in court April 15 and was released after posting a cash bond of $15,000. He was ordered by the court to stay in touch with a probation agent pending his next court appearance, slated for later this month.
Becker County authorities issued an arrest warrant this week after Duncan failed to check in with his probation agent the week of April 18, Dahle said.
Duncan last checked in with the agent the week of April 11, Dahle said."
Oh yeah, you're right. Reeves was one of the deputies they sent after Indians and Coloreds---whom also had their fair proportion of dangerous desperadoes.
I can't claim any extensive knowledge of the criminal history of the era but have been a bit interested since a great aunt was a US deputy marshall out of the Tulsa district--a bit later--and her mother, my great grandmother was the first woman criminal court clerk in her region in the late 19th century.
Okay.
I wasn't implying that her rescue was negative. I was just saying that it seems that something of a negative nature, such as a child molester choosing Denny's as a place to eat, seems to happen to that chain.
To my knowledge, I have never been in a Denny's, so, I'll have to take your word on it.
