Good and timely post. I've got a feeling if they could see what was going on today our forefathers would be writing pamphlets again.
Does it count for a Liberty Ping?

I was wondering if that might get taken the wrong way - my apologies. It was Thomas Paine as I recall that walked out of the Constitutional Congress and said "I smell a rat". He thought it was too much "big government". (If only he could see us NOW!)

Thomas Paine gave all the money he made from Common Sense, which was a lot, and he was poor, he gave all of it to the Revolution.
