Thank you for the ping. The Governor's sanctimonious rhetoric only shows his ignorance of the true American tradition, and the requirements for American continuity.

Keep up the fight.

To actually understand the issues involved in formulating an American Immigration policy, see Immigration.

This is an historical truth that cannot be denied.

It's a historical truth as related to legal immigration, not illegal immigration.

And today it is being reaffirmed by the fact that the immigrant friendly states and cities are the ones prospering while the immigrant-hostile states continue to lose jobs and populations.

Can you name one immigrant-hostile state because I can't think of a single state that is hostile to legal immigrants.

Hispanic-Americans are not the Devil. They are American citizens entitled to the same representation as Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, Polish-Americans, German-Americans, Chinese-Americans, Jewish-Americans Michigan-Americans, and any other group of citizens.

I didn't say, nor did I imply, that Hispanic-Americans are the Devil. I don't understand how you could have misinterpreted my comments to mean that.

"I was born at night, not last night."

That's more information than I asked for or need.

All I wanted you to tell us is where you got the idea that I was saying that illegals were voting in our elections?

I neither said that at night nor in the daytime.

"Speaking out against illegal immigration "

There is a vast difference between speaking out against illegal immigration and insulting American Hispanic voters.

Even a dog knows the difference between being kicked and accidentally stepped upon.

When people oppose illegal immigrants because they dilute our culture, lower our educational standards, have filthy habits, breed too fast, don't speak English, threaten our heritage and ruin our neighborhoods they are insulting all Hispanic Americans.

No one is fooled by insertion of the word "illegal" in the middle of hate speech.

"I didn't say, nor did I imply, that Hispanic-Americans are the Devil"

Then who were you referring to when you said he has sold out to the Devil?

California is prospering?

What planet are you on?

Prospering?

Tell that to the people in southern AZ where hospital emergency rooms are shutting down.

" Hispanic-Americans are not the Devil. "

Strawman.

No one on this thread used those words except you.

Another strawman.

Mind pointing to a post in this thread where someone has said such a thing?

"open borders is not a winning platform in Republican Presidential primaries."

I've been actively involved in a number of Presidential primaries (and gubernatorial). There is always one monster issue that dominates every primary; and that is who has the best chance of winning the general election.

When the polls show the anti-Hispanic candidate losing to Hillary by 20 points, and Huckabee (or other serious candidate) defeating Hillary, the primary voters will vote for the winner, not the loser.

Yes both California and Arizona are doing very well. Where have you been? Don't you ever take time to get your facts straight before posting comments that everyone recognizes are foolish?

See post #15. Once again you have posted without checking your facts. Please start putting a little more time and effort into the contents before you post to me.

I did, and you're caught.

"Hispanic-Americans are not the Devil. "

He never said Hispanic-Americans were the devil, he said that Huckabee sold his soul to the devil. It's a rhetorical flourish, not a racist accusation.

As usual, you take others words out of context, erect a strawman, and let the accusations fly.

I live in Arizona, but spent the last 5 weeks in San Diego.

How about you?

California state and cities have a busted budget.

Businesses are fleeing California.

Southern Arizona is seeing hospital emergency rooms close.

They had to raise my property taxes in Phoenix to support the County Medical Center because it's ground zero for medical treatment of illegal aliens with any medical ailment what so ever - at taxpayer expense.

I'm tempted to say that Huckabee needs to get out of politics and return to preaching, but I think he just needs to shut up.

Do you even know what economic indicators are? Your property taxes and legislative wrangling over how to spend increased tax revenue are not economic indicators.

Please take the time to look up the economic facts on California and Arizona before you waste me time with more inane posts.

Increased tax revenue yes - because they RAISED THE TAX RATE for the purpose of paying for the county medical center.

Not just increased revenue - increased tax RATE.

Some of us vote our principles, rather than the polls.

Then, others have no principles, and just wander from election to election voting the polls, then wonder why "their side" is ignoring them.
