We could only wish.

My dream team includes Krauthammer, Coulter, Robert P. George, Mark Levin, John Ashcroft, Roy Moore, Scalia and Thomas. They could afford to put me in the 9th place and teach me all the finer points of law as we go along. I already understand the Constitution and the difference between right and wrong.

One of those Republicans who betrayed Bork was popular John Warner of VA; another was the recently reelected Arlen Specter.

I second that nomination.

F. Lee Levin for Chief Justice.

YES!

LOL!!! The difference is I recognize that in places like Maine, those two women are as conservative as you are going to get even if they are pro-abortion and Republican. They are better than liberal RATs. Just glad I have Inhofe and Coburn and not them for my Senators -- I would move.

LOL! The funny thing is, I said the same thing to someone earlier in the thread who said they wouldn't filibuster Olson because his wife died in 9-11. I should have known better than to give the dems that much - brain fart!

My criticism is the constant threat of the social conservatives to pack their bags and abandon this president if they don't get their way.

They aren't social conservatives .. they are the hard core conservative that do that

Yeah, but don't forget that my first comment on this thread was to call her rulings schizophrenic!

Olsen is too old. From what I've read on other threads, the WH is looking for someone under age 60 in order to have a longer term. Olsen is 64.

Has Watts yet announced that he will seek the governorship? If he does not run, who else is in the stable?

McCain will never make it past the early primary states like Oklahoma -- not going to happen -- he will lose momentum fast.

My money is on George Allen and don't let anyone tell you that Oklahomans support McCain especially by people that also said Dr. Tom was going to lose!

The Dems would stall their own mother if she was a conservative nomination by Bush

The USSC is the Dems last strangle hold on this country

The liberals will fight to the bitter end

That suits me fine, as long as the person under 60 is an originalist. A long term for another Thomas would be absolutely ideal.

John Warner making some news in his time before the microphone...I think I missed most of it...jsut heard him chastise someone for saying the "advise and consent" in the senate is corrupt". I missed the name of who said that. But Warner is mad enough, he said he didn't want to say anything negative today, but he had to address that.

It's still early and hard to tell how things will turn out

But I'll bet the house that McLame won't make it out of the primaries

He can't be trusted in the Senate .. what makes him think we will trust him with the Country

George Allen looks like a top leader so far
