Dear God but I'm old!!

Pooh! In '85 I was 13 years out of high school with 3 years of college under my belt, 9 years of military service, had a son, and another on the way, had been married for 10 years, was on my second tour in Germany, and listened to whatever was playing at the time!

And there are a few vets here much older than me. You? Old? Not hardly, Chica!

Now that Danny Boy is unemployed, I hope that he does not return to Texas. He should go someplace where his worldview is accepted; anyone want to chip-in for a one way ticket to Cuba?

Right now it's pretty nice. We're finally getting rid of the heat/humidity.

Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous.....high of 75, low around 50, dry air, no rain, lots of sunshine.

Should be a pretty nice holiday weekend.

I don't understand people being cruel and dumping critters either. So many don't get lucky enough to find new homes. :-(
The cats who show up here are all sooooo sweet; I can't imagine anyone wanting to dump them in the first place. Oh well, their loss is our gain. We have lots of love running around the place. LOL!

The spray has a smell, too, and stays on their fur for a couple of days. They eventually lick it off. I just use it because it's so much cheaper than the drops. It works quite well, at least.

Good night, sweet dreams!

I drove home and back to work and home.....

Popping tapes in and out of the ol' VCR.

I had it all on tape, watched it once and gave it all away to a friend whose wife was a Madonna fan.

Looking back, it wasn't all that important, in the grand scheme of things.

No, you are not really old! You're just a slightly seasoned citizen!

Is your soldier the youngest of your kids?

I wish Evan would get home............he got something Fed Exed to him today from the Army, says "open immediately", scheduling info, etc. He needs some dental work done before deployment and I think this is the info he needs........they were going to find him a dentist, set up the appointments, and foot the bill, etc. (via Tri-Care, I believe).

Well, he'll see it when he gets home.

I'm going to call it a night..........tomorrow I get to sleep in but then it's 8 hours of rehearsal.:(

THEN A 3-DAY WEEKEND!!!!!WOO-HOO!!!!!!!
