BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- A Texas woman has pleaded guilty to murder in the strangling and decapitation of her three young children. The deal saves her from execution.
Angela Camacho, 25, received three concurrent life sentences. She'll be eligible for parole in 40 years.
Camacho and her common-law husband admitted to killing their 2-month-old daughter, 1-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter in March 2003. They told police they thought the children were possessed.
Camacho's attorneys failed to prove she was mentally retarded. If she had been convicted at trial, she would have become the first female Mexican national on death row. Her common-law husband has been sentenced to death, but is appealing.
Unfortunately she won't be heading to death row.
Here legally?
It's times like this I wish we could just shoot the folks on the spot.
Oh yeah lets cut on deal on that one.....
I can understand completely.
Thanks for another less than human expatriate Mr Fox.
I thought Texas was a state where the DP was actually taken seriously!!! (Or "bloodthirsty" in moonbat-speak)
Sooner or later, Texans are going to grow tired of paying taxes to support the feeding and housing such crawling scums for the rest of their "un-natural" lives.
The consulate (Mexican), he said, would also continue to lobby against the death penalty for Matamoros native Angela Camacho.
You are not the only one
I thought they were all good Catholics???
Who gives a sh*t whether she admits it or not. Show the evidence to a jery and convict the filthy bitch, then execute her. what is with prosecutors going after Bernie Ebbers and other corporate crooks like they are Hitler and then letting vicious murderers like this off the hook?? Disgusting.
Which side of the river is Matamoras on?

All these people in this neighborhood, we cannot forget what happened here, said Minerva Perez. We still can't forget the kids when they used to pass by here and everything.
