Sean Hannity & Freedom Alliance to Host Star-Studded Tribute to the Troops

Dulles, Virginia – Sean Hannity, nationally syndicated radio personality and the co-host of Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes, has teamed up with Freedom Alliance to raise money to provide college tuition for the dependent children of soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who have been killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. Over the past two years, Hannity and his listeners have contributed over $4 million to this great cause.

Hannity, 77WABC Radio – America’s #1 News Talk Radio Station – and Six Flags Great Adventure, along with Freedom Alliance, will host the third annual “Hannity Freedom Concert” on Friday, July 8th at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey to pay tribute to the men and women of our armed forces. Hannity will broadcast his popular radio program from the park from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm EST followed by the Freedom Concert featuring country music superstars LeAnn Rimes, Buddy Jewell and Aaron Tippin. LtCol Oliver North, USMC (Ret.), the host of War Stories on the Fox News Channel and the founder of Freedom Alliance, will also appear at the event.

“Sean Hannity is a great friend, and we appreciate the help that he and his millions of listeners are providing for the men and women of our armed forces,” said Oliver North who founded Freedom Alliance and serves as the organization’s Honorary Chairman. “The money raised through this effort will have a profound and lasting impact on the sons and daughters of America’s military heroes.”

Since I had already purchased my tickets, I donated two to Ft. Monmouth and two to Naval Weapons Station Earle so that some deserving service members and their spouses can go to the concert.

I went to the first two concerts. Awesome both. I'd be there this Friday too except I have an obligation on the West Coast. Can't believe he got Lee Ann Rimes this year.

So I hear it will be rainy in the morning. I plan to get their sometime around 10. Think I will hang out by the cafeteria that (if I remember correctly) has an ice cream cone shaped roof. I will be wearing my PAJAMA PATROL DEPUTY shirt, and carrying the US & UK flags.

I was also at the last two concerts... Martina and Sara were awesome! They have really powerful voices. Martina is so tiny, too... amazing to hear such a "big" sound come out of her! ;-)
