GITMO COOKBOOK
The Gitmo Cookbook ^ | not sure | n/a

Posted on 06/29/2005 5:17:36 PM PDT by Checkers

"If you're tired of all the torture allegations, of hearing the media imply that handling a Quran without gloves on is the moral equivalent of beheading someone, and of all the hysteria about enemy combatants, you'll enjoy the Gitmo Cookbook.

It contains over 100 actual recipes and menus for the food served to the Gitmo detainees, along with interesting facts about how American soldiers are working every day to treat prisoners humanely while still getting the information we need to protect ourselves.

Baked Tandouri Chicken Breast, Mustard-Dill Baked Fish, Lyonnaise Rice, and Fish Amandine are just a few of the recipes you'll find in the Gitmo Cookbook. We've tested them, and they are inexpensive, easy to make, and delicious.

The cookbook is being printed and will be shipped in about 10 weeks. Pre-order your copy now for only $8.95!

The Gitmo Cookbook - helping you support the troops, mock the mainstream media, and eat like a Gitmo detainee!"

"The cookbook is a professionally printed 6 x 9 softcover book. The recipes are official Navy recipes that serve 100, so if you are cooking for a crowd this book will be extremely useful. We have also scaled the recipes down to 6-8 servings so that you can prepare Gitmo meals for your family.

Some of the recipes are Baked Tandouri Chicken Breast, Mustard-Dill Baked Fish, Lyonnaise Rice, and Fish Amandine.

The recipes in the cookbook are standard Navy recipes that have been modified for the detainees to comply with halal requirements. We've tried most of them. They're pretty good, and easy to make. Most have 8 or fewer ingredients and can be made quickly.

Believe it or not these sound like standard military food service recipies.

BTW - The Navy is in charge of maintaining the recipies.

As far as I'm concerned, they can all eat s***. Same goes for the Congress-slime who champion their cause.

S.O.S, beef and grease, pork and little mf's and the very special ham and eggs in a can.
Must be rules against that stuff now?

So....is the "support the troops" mainly morally or are they giving the proceeds to programs that actually support the troops?

Ah GITMO, the nation's first faith-based (Islamic)detention facility. While Americans can't celebrate the faith that founded this country, we're seeing Americans helping terrorists celebrate the very religion whose zealots are bent on destroying every American and America itself. We are living the Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."

Heil Durbin Crow

1 - Senator Dick Durbin (Any other Democratic politician may be substituted)
1 - large crow
5 lbs - dried Kennedy dung (Normal Democratic dung may be substituted but flavor suffers some)

Pry open Durbin's mouth. Pack in 2 1/2 lbs dried dung. Insert crow then finish packing remaining 2 1/2 lbs dried dung. Let set for two weeks to assure proper flavoring.

Serves 3 to 6 Democrats or one Kennedy.

Thanfully, I'll likely never have a need to speak that language myself.

I have been to Canada a few times and I was surprised to realize that French is so very common up there.

I also was surprised to learn that there is a distinction b/n francais and quebecois. I was told that quite plainly by more than one individual, but, to tell the truth, my french was never so good that I could actually tell the difference.

-More people have died in Ted Kennedy's car than at Gitmo.-

Someone should put that on a shirt.

It was brought out during this issue, serving MRE's to the morons at Gitmo is considered 'Abusive.' Only in PC America could something like this be thought up.

It should be the other way around.

For the troops in the field: Baked Tandouri Chicken Breast, Mustard-Dill Baked Fish, Lyonnaise Rice, and Fish Amandine.

The detainees: MRE's (Muslim Retching Entree's).

Speaking of food, did you hear about the KFC special to honor Hillary?
