A few weeks ago, my four year old daughter and I were playing with her Lincoln Logs.  We built a fort and then threw the remaining ones at it like they were artillery shells.  She told me the people in the fort were "Cana-deys".  She either meant Kennedys or Canadians.  Either way, I knew I was doing a class A job of raising her.

I have to say, that I am Canadian and I have no problem with Americans. I realize, just like you should, that any country is going to have it's loud mouth embarrassing individuals that make us all look bad.
I am sorry that there is an idiot driving around insulting Americans, he certainly does not speak for all of us.
I will say this however, there is no jealousy complex. Although I travel to your country, have relatives there and think it's great, I would never live there. Too many things seem to restrict freedom, although you seem to feel that's not true.
Why do we live near your border?? Not because we rely so heavily on you, although we do almost all our business with you that just makes good business sense, it's the same reason that the population in Alaska is smaller that most other states. It's freakin cold up north!!!!
As long as our two countries can learn to find the good in each other as much as possible we should continue to get along. Sure we are going to disagree, what neighbours don't?
On a final note, please stop with the rude comments and remarks about french Canada. First of all France doesn't want Quebec, they won't even speak french to them when they visit. Secondly it is lame to call things Freedom Fries or Freedom Toast. First of all neither of those are from France. I live in Quebec and speak French although I have no french in my blood. It's a beautiful province and sure it has it's problems but those people live in the centre of the province and not the rest of it.
This site when you sign up claims that you are not allowed to post rude and derogatory comments about others. I have seen swear words and horrible insults cast at Canada. Let's all grow up and stop playing the bully game.
Although I know I'll get horrible hate replies sent to me, I still wish your soldiers the best and hope they do help put an end to terrorism, otherwise your government has wasted a lot of money and lives for no reason!
