BOSTON - Customers of XM Satellite Radio Inc. aren't the only ones who appreciate its digital quality and nationwide coverage. The U.S. military might draft XM's service for homeland security purposes.

XM and Raytheon Co. have jointly built a communications system that would use XM's satellites to relay information to soldiers and emergency responders during a crisis.
The Mobile Enhanced Situational Awareness Network, known as MESA, would get a dedicated channel on XM's satellites that would be accessible only on devices given to emergency personnel. The receivers would be the same as the portable ones available to consumers, with slight modifications to make them more rugged.

It's been sounding fishy to me ever since the CLINTONS made it such a big point of having a closeness with JFK jr, that didn't exist, right after JFK jr turned up mysteriously missing.
It's also been sounding fishy to me ever since the CLINTON White House, and CLINTON himself in a Presidential News Conferance, officially told us that JFK jr was so close to CLINTON that he had waited till BILL was President before making his "1st" visit to the White House since the Assassination of his father JFK.
Fishier still since JFK jr's real such White House visit took place in February 1971 with President and Mrs. NIXON...?
Fishier still after the NIXON Birthplace and Library in Yorba Linda, CA posted it's February 1971 JFK jr 'Thank You for the White House Visit Letter to the NIXONs' ...on its front lobby wall in front of a NBC TV News camera just before JFK jr's plane was finally found..?
Fishier still after the CLINTON White House announced that all was JFK jr's fault, that's the now dead JFK jr, for his not telling the CLINTONS during his previous year's White House visit about his real 1st White House visit since his father JFK's death.
