Western Tennessee is very nice. I've always wanted to see eastern Tennessee. I can tell by the maps that there are a lot towns in the mountain valleys there. I had my eye on Knoxville once.

A friend gave me a ' Best of U2 Volume 12 ' ( or whatever number ) for Christmas. I used to enjoy their music. But the more I listened to Bono and what he was singing I just shut it off. He is so damned melodramatic and full of himself.
The last decent piece of work Bono did was his appearance on The Simpsons a few years back.

Agree. Seems like there are so many "give us money so we can help" organizations out there and we never know where the money goes. I'll keep what little money I have in my own pocket.

This jokingly intended "stay out of politics, Bill, and work for God", comment Thanks for confirming my own take on it. I'll give Graham an old timer's pass even if he meant it. A story today said that although Graham associated with all Presidents, he felt closest to Nixon.

I have a friend who moved to NC a few years ago and absolutely loves it. She was born in Italy, came here when she was very small and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. They are happy as clams in NC, near the Triangle.

The WSJ had an article about why folks dont go to the theaters any more. Besides the bad product it boiled down to rude people in the movie theater and no ushers.
If I owned a movie theater I'd hire big bouncers, pay them more than what they'd make at a bar and let them go to work.
It astounds me how rude people are in the theaters.
I'll wait to see it on DVD.

I can use my imagination to overlook inferior technical quality for movies that remain faithful to the book.

Most speakerphones are pretty bad. Add the lack of sound absorbtion in Fund's room, and it's doubly bad.
To: SoCalPol
HAHAH! Let's hope no MJ at all. We're now listening to John Fund calling from inside a very large bucket-cket-et-t.

People are rude in theaters. It's just not much fun to watch a movie any more.

Well, Lainies point about the Universities is sad to hear but it really does seem like a nice place. There are so few left.
My family has been in NE forever but I just have this nagging suspicion I'll have to leave my state of MA some day.

How about Soros and Warren Buffet? They can pay this stuff out of house operating expenses.
