It sounds like the NYT is celebrating....."a record".
I couldn't read the whole article, because I refuse to register with the NY Slimes.

Liberals demanded equal combat role for women, then when the inevitable occurs, they use their deaths as propaganda denigrating our military.

That sounds about right.
Liberals: "Women should have the right to be in combat."
Liberals: "Look, women are being killed in combat. It's Bush's fault!"

Heard about this this morning.
Horrible.
Car bombs and IEDs are the terrorists' main tactics now.

Iraq Bombing Kills 4 U.S. Women... How is the Marines' gender relevant to this story?
Four Marines killed. That's the story. If the media is going to make gender part of the story, then do it evenhandedly. Imagine headlines to the affect, "Iraq Bombing Kills 4 U.S. Men"
Except perhaps in the most desperate of circumstances, no civilized civilization puts its women in combat.

It's certainly typical. First they campaign for equal opportunities for women in combat, and then they blame Bush when women are killed.
It's the same with blacks. They whine and bitch when black re-enlistment drops (although not below the percentage of blacks in the population). Then out of the other sides of their mouths they whine and complain because blacks are being subjected to dangerous combat.
With privelege comes responsibility. You take the job, you take the risks.

Messengers are usually exempt from reprisal for bringing bad news.
But this is the tawdry NYT.
Exemplary in their anti-American filth without exception.
This might as well be just another news outlet for AlJezeera.
To whom do we credit for such "faithful" coverage?
On the other hand constancy is considered a virtue.
Good job T_C.

Sh@@heads NYT. We are at war. For a while, American deaths were on a decline. Watch now, it will inspire the terrorist to go back to killing our military since they got NYT coverage. Lets hope they just don't target women in the military. Damn the NYT. If people would just not buy the Times, we could complete the mission much sooner. In a sense, they are recruiting terrorist who love being in the news.

I hope Patsy Shroeder (ex. Colorado Rat congressweasel) is happy now that women are being killed in combat.

Because the lives of men are not worth as much? Last I checked this civilization did not PUT them in combat, they volunteer go go near it.

Because the lives of men are not worth as much? No. Because men of civilized civilizations recognize that one of their primary duties on Earth is to protect their women and children from harm.

I might volunteer to be an astronaut. That doesn't obligate NASA to put me on a shuttle.

Hmm a lot of those seem to be dying in cars. We should not allow them any where near those dangerous machines.

Ban cars. Let them use bicycles, goat carts, horses, camels, motorcycles...and if they need to take a car into a particular area, search it first.

A scenario or timeline I saw earlier indicated that these women marines were on their way to relieve other women at a checkpoint because of course they had to have women there to search the local women passing through.
This establishes an MO, a pattern - and IMO these women were deliberately targeted.

Though some might not understand; I will sometimes pass through a doorway ahead of my wife. That's because, if I'm uncertain of what might be on the other side, I need to be between her and a potential threat.
It's no different than what the Secret Service would do for the President.
