According to reports, pop superstar Madonna has given her eight-year-old daughter Lourdes a credit card with a $10,000 limit.
Friends say Madonna hopes the exercise will teach Lourdes to appreciate the value of money.
"Minors are not usually allowed credit cards so she had to pull a few strings to get it issued in Lourdes' name," a close friend said to magazine In Touch Weekly.
"She is hoping to teach Lourdes to be responsible with money."

GIVE your 8 year old a credit card so they learn the value of money?
"Here hun, here's a credit card. Mommy's a whore so we have all the money you need."

This is good news. I'm always in favor of separating a fool from their money.

Just because one is able to make a lot of money does not necessarily mean they possess the wealth of wisdom. (Or even intelligence apparently.)

Well giving money to your children doesn't usually equal teaching the values of money. Especially when its higher than most people can afford for car payments in a year. She will only know the value of what being a celebrity child is like. Paris Hilton has about as much class as a street walker. The difference? She has the money...and the family..to make her decisions have absolutely no repercussions. What a joke!

Too bad Lourdes can't use the card to buy a normal, respectable mom with more character and morals.
