I read comments like yours and tears just come to my eyes. Little by little, the progressive, Marxist socialists are destroying our God-given rights as written in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

"This crap was one of the original grievances in the Declaration"

This crap was why the Maga Carter was written too. Still nothing but slience from the GOP.

Exactly! I heard on talk radio at lunch today that there was not outrage by the public regarding our loss of rights. How can that be?

'On dozer engines'....that's not a rumor....got to have the right round though.

.308, 30-06, any of the larger calibers work fine on engine blocks, AP is hard to find now, for obvious reasons......

legislation at the state level to seveerly limit eminient domain will stop this call your STATE representatives and tell em your voting em out if they don't fix this.

The politicians won't care if you vote them out - they will already be enriched by the kickbacks from the developers.

It's doubtful that they will ever get voted out anyway.

Its much easier to get state legislation through generally. that's were activism generally works, in my experience at least.

I agree - the small town politicians won't care if you vote them out though. They will all be enriched by the developers already and one of their fishing buddies will be the next mayor anyway.

The best way to stop this seems to be through a state constitutional amendment. If we in Georgia were able to get a amendment on the ballot to ban gay marriage, surely we can get one on the ballot to severely limit eminent domain.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA...now, would I admit to that if I did?

Let's just say any local jihadi's would be facing equivalent firepower.

I think it'd be wise for citizens to do the same with body parts of deceased. Lest states begin eminent domain with those 'for the public good'.

This news sucks. I can't believe we have come to this in the United States.

The United States is an idea that is passe.

We are now the Soviet Socialist States of America.

Hey Jeff. Let's both go and FReep the Homo Parade on Sunday. Make sure you wear cut-offs to blend. We can bring signs demanding an amendment to the State Constitution. Got any good slogans?

It grieves me to think you might be right. What the hell is wrong with the supreme court? I wrote a note to the offending 5. It was addressed to the 5 nitwits. I questioned whether or not they could read. It appears they don't have a clue what is in the Constitution. Shameful!

It kinda sucks to have been alive during the dismantling of this country's freedoms.

I remember back in the 1970's and 1980;s, if you wanted to do something and someone recommended against it, you'd say "Why the hell not? America's a free country!"

You don't hear that much any more.
