Repudiate This! (By a Fellow Freeper)

Repudiate This Robin Mullins Boyd

The Democrats are just beside themselves with anguish and indignation over Karl Rove’s comparison of the Conservative response to terrorism versus the Liberal response. Funny how this one statement has raised the Dem’s moral indignation while Durbin’s comparison of our fighting men and women to Nazis flew under their indignation radar.

When I read all of the comments from the outraged Dems and then listened to Sen. Kennedy harangue Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, the word hypocrisy immediately jumped into my brain. (Yes Mr. Dean I am Republican and I have a brain). Where does this crowd of Bush haters get off with decrying comments from a Republican while wallowing in the filth of their very own statements?

What a joke it is to have Sen. Kennedy lecture someone about “leadership worthy of the sacrifices that our fighting forces have made”. This from the blowhard that announced that the torture chambers in Iraq had reopened under new management. This from the mouth that called the war in Iraq a “plan conceived in Texas” before George W. Bush became President. Can you imagine the gall it takes to chastise someone for lack of leadership after terrorists in Iraq used your very own words as justification for killing our soldiers? Sen. Kennedy, I repudiate you and all that you stand for.

Old Searchlight Nevada native, Harry Reid, had to drop in his two cents worth. Reid called on President Bush to “repudiate” Karl Rove’s remarks. No Senator Reid, I think you should go first. How about you repudiate Sen. Durbin’s malicious and vile attack against our soldiers? How about Howard Dean’s constant stream verbal venom against Republicans? I haven’t heard any repudiation about that from your office. While you are on the moral soapbox, why don’t you repudiate yourself for calling our President a “loser” and a “liar”? Sen. Reid, I repudiate you and all of your divisive comments about our President.

The epitome of political correctness, Howard Dean, could not wait to get in on the Liberal moral wagon. Dean demanded that President Bush “show some leadership and unequivocally repudiate Rove’s divisive and damaging political rhetoric.” I had to read his comments twice because my eyes were clouded with tears of laughter at the utter absurdity of Dean’s request. Mr. Dean, when you apologize to this “evil white Christian” who has “never earned an honest living” in her life, then we can discuss this matter. Otherwise, shut your pie hole and go back to your little minions of hate. The Republican Party needs you to do more recruiting for us.

We can’t forget Sen. Clinton, Sen Schumer and Sen. Lautenberg who were also calling for the head of Karl Rove. Decrying Rove’s comments as “insulting” is a little over the top from someone that blamed her husband’s sexual escapades in the White House on a “vast right wing conspiracy”. Maybe they should read over the transcripts from Campaign 2004 before they start crying about using September 11 “for political gain”. Didn’t the DNC convention start up with a 30-minute tribute to the victims of September 11? Didn’t old “flip-flop” himself use September 11 over and over during the campaign? I seem to remember a little speech on the Senate floor, complete with posterboards, about those pesky “chickenhawks”. I guess that was not divisive.

So all you Liberals that want Karl Rove drawn and quartered for his factual statement need to take a deep breath and maybe a Xanax. Americans have listened to your hate-filled diatribes for the past 5 years. You have demonstrated by your words and actions that you are willing to compromise our country and our soldiers just to get a little dig at President Bush. The only success in your world is a failure for our country. For that and all of the other divisive hateful disgusting comment, I repudiate you all. I am calling for you all to resign. Then maybe we will take up the matter of Karl Rove’s comment.

Republicans only demand apologies when Democrats insult America.

Democrats only demand apologies when Republicans insult liberals.

Shows you where everyone's priorities are.

I thought the dems say they aren't liberal but either moderate or progressive? Why should they be insulted by Rove's remarks, they weren't directed at them(sic).

Kennedy is beyond disgust. He DARES to use the word "quagmire" when his own BROTHER got us into Vietnam and his other stupid brother contributed to the anti-war group that ensured that we didn't win.

Shhhh.. You aren't supposed to relate JFK to Vietnam. Don't you know history is being re-written to make it seem Nixon got us in and LBJ saved us?

Mr. Rove tapped on the "ground zero" of Democrat agenda, policy, and strategies. And the Dems are spewing all over the map. Lots of hot air ballooning out into the ether.

Ever hit a bully in the stomach? I have. He emits "bad air", and then runs like crazy in a circle trying to regain his ground. "Dazed and confused" is another applicable description of bullies and hypocrites when squarely and properly addressed.

Not in our book: "A Patriot's History of the United States."

Sorry, they won't let me post a pic or a link. That would be "soliciting."

There is a movie playing almost nonstop on Sundance: Bush's Brain. Basically, "Karl Rove is an Evil Genius." Aside from calling Rove evil, (where is his apology?), they seem to acknowledge that he is a genius. Yes, he is a genius, and he is OUR genius, and don't you wish you had him.

You may. Thank you. By the way, we have a very good discussion of the "mill acts" and the whole bias toward development "for the public good" in this book, and to me, the USSC decision was not at all surprising---it was entirely in keeping with the what was established 170 years ago. It may not be right, but the court was thoroughly consistent, and anyone reading our book would not have been surprised, either.

I'll add this to my 'to buy' list. I am about to order your other book, The Entrepreneurial Adventure. This sounds quite intriguing; I wish I read this during business school.

I'd like to share your indignation, but I believe this is really just "bread & circuses".

We have real issues to deal with, and these folks just want to give us the political equivalent of the Jerry Springer show. If you want to boil your blood over something, try:

Out of control spending, or
Unchecked illegal immigration, or
Unchecked healthcare cost spirals, or
Loss of comptetitiveness in manufacturing for America, or
Loss of property rights for individuals, or
....

You get the idea. Democrats are evil, but the Republicans are no day at the beach either.

The last line in Rove's speech was:

Let me put in this in really simple terms. Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Sen. Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals.

They're bitching about another quote where they think they can nail Rove in an inaccuracy. But this had to be really why they're mad. That last line is the TOTAL TRUTH about the left, and they can't withstand it being told in public.

Thanks. Unfortunately, Ent. Adventure isn't inexpensive like PHUSA because it was (ahem!) a "textbook" so the publisher sought to soak the poor kiddies. That's a mistake I won't make again.

Mega dittos. Well done.

I think Karl Rove is beyond genious. He knew exactly what he was doing when he fed "red meat" to the Conservatives the other night. He also knew the Democrats and the MSM would become apoplectic with rage and demand prostrated apologies.

And when the DemoRats lost it and demanded his resignation, Scott McClellan and our RNC Ken were ready to blast them to kingdom come for not repudiating Senator Dick Durbin. The country was again reminded that a DemoRat Senator compared our heroic fighting men to Nazis.

To their credit the DemoRats apparently have "wised" up and are now trying to change the subject. I think Karl Rove should feed some Conservative group more "red meat" -- very soon. ;-)

What a joke it is to have Sen. Kennedy lecture someone about “leadership worthy of the sacrifices that our fighting forces have made”

What are you talking about? Kennedy showed magnificent leadership when he crawled out of the river he left Mary Jo Kapechne in.
