To: U. S. Congress
PETITION FOR REDRESS OF GRIEVENCES
We the People of the United States, do hereby demand that our duly elected representatives in both houses of Congress, initiate impeachment proceedings against the following Supreme Court Justices:
John Paul Stevens Anthony Kennedy David H. Souter Ruth Bader Ginsburg Stephen G. Breyer
We, the undersigned, consider the Supreme Court ruling in Kelo v. New London, 04-108, rendered June 23, 2005, not only unacceptable, but to be in criminal violation of the Justice's oaths to uphold, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Be advised that We the People regard elected officials to be our public servants. Failure to take action against the Justices specified shall be considered support for the decision rendered in the aforementioned case, and will result in our resolve to ensure your defeat in the next election.
Being from myriad political and ideological spectra, we are united in our belief that our right to own property is inalienable.
Sincerely,
The Undersigned
Only 315 so far. Need losts more!
Someone should point them to this petition. It is time to put our political differences aside. Even the people at DU are outraged. Let us all work together to protect our rights and get these traitors removed. I view this as a watershed moment in our history, we can either say "we the people" are in charge or we can let our freedoms slip away.

yep, slippery slope and the socialists just poured grease all over it.
In 25 years all you will really own is the mortgage, but the property will be on loan from Big Brother.
Own mine outright. The only good thing is that in 25yrs.......... I'll be dead!
I own mine too. But the trick the county is using around here is rezoning so that big commercial developers can get into an area and basically drive out the homeowners. Essentially the same thing is a backhanded way.
Just had a major case here, family has mortgaged everything they own to fight it in court. They won, county was found to be wrong all over the place. Guess what? County refused to pay their legal bills. Even though the county was found to be acting illegally. Claimed it would set a bad precedent.
I'll find the article. It should be posted here.
http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050222/NEWS/502220344
It also contains links to other stories in the chronology.
Basically it goes like this:
Mayor sells land to developer
Developer says to county planning commission "we spent all this money on this land & won't make enough back unless you change the zoning"
Planning commission denies request for rezoning saying the density would be bad for the other landowners/residents
County commissioners are "persuaded" by developer to overrule the planning commission
For some really twisted logic, read what the county's attorney gives as a reason for not paying the family's legal bills. Unbelieveable. Also note who his attorney wife represents. Big circle jerk going on here.
BTTT !!!! Blackbird.
Bump.
I FReepmailed you.
Problem is they don't act like they are our "servants". They act like we are their "servants".
It's high time to knock these so-called officials down from their pedestals and start obeying the Constitution, or they can reap the whirlwind that is fast becoming.
Signed!
signed and still speechless.
