The White House is rejecting Democratic demands that Karl Rove apologize for saying liberals meekly offered "therapy" for the terrorists as a response to 9/11.
Press Secretary Scott McClellan says President Bush's top political adviser was just "telling it like it is." Rove delivered his blast a few miles from Ground Zero in New York, at a Conservative Party dinner, he said liberals sought "understanding" for the attack and Democrats called for "moderation and restraint" while President Bush saw it for what it was: a declaration of war.
McClellan says Rove wasn't getting personal, just describing different philosophies.
Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean calls Rove's remarks "divisive and damaging." Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid says Rove should apologize, or resign.
At a Senate hearing on Iraq, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton called on military leaders to "immediately repudiate" what she called "an insulting comment."
Why should Rove apologize? It's not like what he said isn't the Truth. Now if he called our troops comparable to nazi's, Stalin, Pol pot...or Ganghis KAHN he would owe an apology.
So do some MALE moonbats:
*snicker*
It's too bad that no MSM outlet is going to note how quick all the democrats were to jump up and complain about what they perceive as a slight against their party...
When not ONE of them stood up to denounce Durbin's attacks against Americans serving at Gitmo. And some actually accused Republicans of drumming up the complaints.
Last Thursday Reid said that the complaints about Durbin were just the right-wingers stirring up trouble. Has he offered to withdraw those remarks? He has TWO reasons -- first, Durbin apologized, so even HE knew what he said was wrong. And second now, Reid is complaining that it is wrong to say anything bad about liberals.
But the MSM is also showing their hypocrisy. They are covering an attack on THIER party a lot more than they covered the Durbin comments.
Wow, mind if I steal it?
It get's worse Kerry and Conrad trying to summon up righteous indignationon on the floor of the Senate right now! Dog and Pony show, we have to endure this because we dared call Durbin on his remarks! Karl Rove is a political hack (in a good way), his remarks are not entered in the Congressional Record. These people are a Efin Joke! Larry Craig regained the floor and blew them both off by saying well continuing with the Enegry Bill.
I still get a mental image of an abortion clinic on every corner of Baghdad and Khabul, Gay Pride parades through the streets and "clean needle" programs whenever I think of that line.
One person used to get through at either karl.rove@whitehouse.gov or something like that...but he wrote back saying to e-mail him at that addy.
I have tried various addresses, including some with the typical WH staff designation of @eop.who.gov, but nothing seems to get through (I don't really know since the WH is set up so you DON'T get a message back alerting you if something fails....obviously they don't want people fishing for e-mail addresses like I was doing so they don't let you know if it gets through.
HOWEVER, YOU CAN CALL HIS OFFICE.
Tel for Rove's office: 202-456-5587 or 202-456-2369
Fax for Rove's office: 202-456-2461 (make sure to say it is for him on the cover sheet...seems there is just one big WH fax number that is public).
Timothy Goeglein, WH Public Liaison, at (202) 456-2930
Andrew Card's office, WH Chief of Staff: 202-456-6798
The flak is always heaviest when you're right over the target. Bomb's away, Karl!
Yep, the ancestors of some Americans committed atrocities against the natives, so we deserved the atrocities that the Arabs gave us. His speech at Georgetown University. Thanks for reminding me...and for reminding all of us.
LOL!
I'm cheering. I have the biggest grin on my face right now that Karl slayed them with the truth. LOL
I suppose Kerry thinks we all have short term memories? That we don't remember his interview stating he wanted terrorism to return to the days it was a mere "Nuisance" (law enforcement).
The MSM is so stupid the believe they are protecting them, and all they are really doing is repeating the TRUTH Karl laid out. LOL

Check it out, Sean Hannity is saying basically that Karl said this on purpose to get them going, Karl did not say Democrats, he said liberals, and the idiots are outing themselves. It was a joke more or less!
You just saved it by commenting...
John Kerry
the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time
Again! Hillary probably set him up, now his stupid comments will be on the Congressional Record so that Hillary can extract them at her whim! LMAO
Hey, thanks. I heard them on Hannity. Its actually the usual people that I would expect to hear say that. I mean I thought there would someone like John Kerry saying it or something...
Just before American and British troops entered Iraq to remove the regime of Saddam Hussein, a videotape of Osama bin Laden was aired on Al-Jazeera TV. The tape was aired on February 12, 2003, and in it bin Laden said:
"The interests of Muslims and the interests of the socialists coincide in the war against the crusaders.
Bin Laden was referring to the fact that four weeks earlier, millions of leftists had poured into the streets of European capitals and of Washington, San Francisco and New York to protest the removal of Saddam Hussein. Their goal was to prevent the United States and Britain from toppling Saddam and ending one of the cruelest and most repressive regimes in modern times. The protesters chanted no blood for oil; they called the United States the world's greatest terrorist state; they called Americas democratic government an Axis of Evil; and they compared Americas president to Adolph Hitler.
