The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long
B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.
D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.
D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.
G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located
D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives
F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.
C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.
E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Then Joran can hang out in Amsterdam and kill the poor underage prostitutes, who have no family to search for them.
What does this mean?
The whole island is surrounded by radar means that they know when a boat is coming/going.

YUP!! I saw one interview where the manager of the Holiday Inn stated that they had had several cancellations of future bookings already. It needs to start hurting this corrupt place. Apparently they take in several BILLIONS of American dollars in tourism every year. I call that leverage!!

As for "looking guilty," perhaps we should install you as a permanent judge in all murder cases, and dispense with silly tedious investigations and juries.
If you have such an infallible sense, it could save our court system a lot of time and money. The Aruban courts too.
Joran was NOT honest nor honorable, from all indications, so why do we expect him to act that way? Which is one of the reasons why a jilted Joran would leave ANY girl he didn't have his way with...stranded...or dead.
My commonsense conclusion says she died while in his charge. But the moral, honest law abiding person that I am, requires some more evidence before I hang him. And even his Dad sweating buckets doesn't do it for me...I'm funny that way..sw

I think Mark went through some very rough times when his testimony was impeached, he was branded a racist and a liar and a scoundrel, he lost his career, and was basically ridden out of town on a rail. The way he recovered was remarkable. The signs DID point to the dad or someone in the family in the Lunsford case. It's hard to believe someone can come in, silence the dog, and kidnap a child out of her room without waking anyone, but this BASTARD did it, and I think his buddies were with him all the way, he was just the only one with a record.

Yes. Even experts we admire can be wrong (and I still like Mark Fuhrman).
There was another case on FR where all the fingers pointed the wrong way. It was a recent murder of an entire Christian Egyptian family in Jersey City.
From what we heard about the "facts" of that case, a lot of us here on FR were totally convinced that Muslim fanatics had tortured and murdered the family because of the father's outspoken anti-Muslim postings on an internet forum.
We all thought that any information being put out by the prosecutor that didn't support our theory was a "cover up."
(I too was convinced of that theory though I don't think I posted post on any of the threads.)
Well, it turned out everybody on FR was wrong. Dead, dead wrong.
It wasn't Muslim fanatics who killed that family, it was an upstairs neighbor who was a drug addict, not a Muslim, who killed them; and the motive had nothing to do with the father's internet postings or the family's being Christian.
Well, I don't think we could shut it down any more than we can shut down Amsterdam, but we can make sure people know what they're getting into if they choose to go to this "family friendly" island paradise.
I think I'd heard before they have a system like that, and yet, the smugglers still get through. A system is only as good/effective as the top people want it to be.

Beth's husband and some men friends of his from Alabama hit the ground running the second they arrived on Aruba. Apparently they questioned some who were aware of who Natalee was last seen with. They found out who and where his family was and went looking for them. They all as a group confronted the father and son as soon as they tracked them down. I believe, but might have misremembered, that they found them in a Casino, after first having looked for them at their home. Beth was along on this mission, too. This family never waited for the police to do anything...

It has been widely reported that Mr. vdS told his son to stop volunteering information to the Holloway-Twittys when they showed up unannounced at the vdS house in the wee hours of the morning, early on in this thing.
If that's what happened, I don't find it especially incriminating. (I addressed that in post 3659 and don't want to be repetitive.)

How did that lout know all these things before going there?
He didn't know the Lunsfords.
