AP and Yahoo Slander Justice Scalia
AP on Yahoo News ^

Posted on 06/23/2005 10:21:34 AM PDT by Yossarian

Take a look at the picture used in AP's coverage of the Supreme Court Seizure ruling:

Of course, Justice Scalia voted against this horrible ruling, but would you get that at first glimpse? Instead, the AP went and dug up an almost two-year old picture to propagandize that Antoin Scalia is slobbering at the thought of seizing your dear home.

Ridiculous. The AP knows this will be a VERY UNPOPULAR decision and is INTENTIONALLY trying to dupe the public into thinking the conservatives are behind it. Pure propaganda by the AP - Goebbels would be proud.

"Of course, this evil ruling is the fault of Justice Scalia! You wouldn't want him to be Chief Justice, would you?"

Just got off the phone. The person who answered was very rude, and said do you want to make a comment or not? I wound up talking to a machine.

I just called and got the same treatment....

Called AND wrote an email, but like most of the left-wing media... they don't give a shit about anybody or anything, except themselves and their ilk.

F**k 'em.

Ginsberg was NOT a dissenter.

Scalia, Thomas, Rehnquist, and O'Connor.

I know-that was a goof-up on my part-I meant O'Connor, of course. I was talking about Ginsburg to a co-worker as I was typing the post...

I actually called this number for Curley during the AP's false story about a Bush campaign aufdience booing Clinton upon mentioning Clinton's upcoming heart surgery. Heck if the CEO himself didn't pick up the phone. I gave him an earful.

Sent this email to Yahoo News. Any little bit helps. At least they know we see through their vain attempts to control us.

Why did you use a picture of Justice Scalia for this story when he voted against this seizure ruling? Why not use one of the liberal justices who voted for this? It sickens me the way you manipulate the truth in an attempt to modify peoples behavior and thoughts. Shame on you.

I hate the AP more than anyone but it unless they have changed it I don't see Scalia's picture on the AP News website or any other site carrying AP.

Yahoo may have acted alone on this one. It seems that they have changed the updated story now. The only picture I see is the following:

They have changed the picture.

But the story is definitely twisted.

And the decision is ludicrous!
