Dover, NH (AHN) - Rocker/hunter Ted Nugent is ordered to pay child support to a woman he had a brief affair with in 1995.
Nugent will $3,500.00 a month to Karen Gutowski, who is the mother of the now 10-year old boy.
According to the Foster's Daily Democrat Newspaper in New Hampshire, Nugent was originally served with papers regarding the lawsuit while playing a show with ZZ Top at the Meadowbrook Amphitheater.
Gutowski will have sole custodial rights to the child, but no visitation rights for Nugent have been ordered as of yet.
Oddly enough, on Nugent's own website, it states the guitarist was named "Father of The Year". He has been married to his wife, Shemane, since 1989. they have four children together.

You are right and thats fair nonetheless lets not stoop to comparing what the leader of the free world did committing perjury and lieing about it to hundreds of millions of people, and making his subordinates lie about it to when one us private sector folk commits adultery
Good lord. You need to get therapy.
Since neither of us is a touring rock star, we have NO IDEA of the temptations. Sorry to disappoint you about life, but every man, and every woman, is prone to sin. That's why forgiveness exists. If we're all perfect -- who needs it?
sounds like she has him in a stranglehold baby
The system of child support largely IS against men, but that is because the majority of men who have to be taken to court are deabeats and selfish, irresponsible men who do NOT provide for thier children and have to be forced and compelled by the legal system to do so.
Beg to differ with you, but in reality when men are ordered to pay child support 61% do so with no problems. Now I know that 39% non payment is high, and there are no excuses...they are just dead beats. Care to guess the percentage of non payment of child support, when women are ordered to pay it. The last figure I saw was a little over 90%. Really doesn't matter who has the largest percentage of non-paying deadbeats. Male or female the numbers are huge. But to say that the court system is biased because men are deadbeats really doesn't explain the whole picture. When Men fight for custody, while a small percentage, they usually don't have a chance in a court. I had a friend years ago who fought his cheating, lying, spend thrift wife for custody who after losing the custody battle committed suicide, several months later. While I understand that this is an extreme case, it happens.
When I fell a little behind, I had to go to court and was ordered to pay the back child support, which was no problem. The DA noticed that I had 2 of the children, and her only one, so I was told that I could get support from her and would not have to pay her anymore. Her income was more than mine at the time, but I didn't ask for any money from her as I didn't mind supporting my own children.
That's my story, and it all turned our alright.
I know of another situation where the ex wife doesn't work (out of choice because she is qualified to have a high paying medical profession job) because she wants to live off of the income of the Father.
She lives with another man and has another child, and he has a child too. He pays very little child support.
They are trying to live off of the income of the Father, who is a hard working man who dotes on his kids. They have shared custody, and they spend more time with him than her as she doesn't like children.(except for the cash register sound she hears)
This is very unfair, but because she is on welfare, she has the DA as her attorney and they want to get as much money from the Dad as possible so they don't have to pay so much to her. A sad situation.
There seems to be more negative comments towards men (deserved for the deadbeats and those that don't want to support their children) then women, but they can be very selfish and and self absorbed regarding their relationships also.
I know of a case where a woman cheated on her husband with a man for a year, she didn't want to be married or so she said. But she didn't leave her husband.
He finally caught on that something wasn't right, and divorced her. He apparently didn't know about the year long relationship that she had while married, but she treated him so poorly that he finally got fed up with her games.
The sad part is she lied to all of her friends and played the victim to the hilt. She ended up with a new house and no responsibilities of children or pets or husband. Although she complained for a time about not having her "husband", her goal of having the attention of many men instead of just one was accomplished. (Now that's what I call high maintenance! LOL)
And he and her ex-lover were the bad guys. Go figure.
(see where I got that here)
So, there's so many more temptations when you are a rock star, so that makes it okay. No, it does not. Yes, he sinned, and is to be forgiven, but dismissing it as okay because there's just so many temptations out there is dangerous thinking.
Giving me assignments is pretty silly. I won't be playing that game with you.
Of course we all make mistakes. But we don't all make that one.
I have no doubt that he has made things right with his wife and that's all that matters. He did not hurt me, so I have nothing to "forgive" him for.
It's between his wife and himself.
Still, married men should keep their pants on unless they are with their wife.
Something tells me that you have been more than just a little bit tempted at least once in your married life. You said you have never strayed and I believe you, but you must have come really close to have feelings this strong about the issue.
I'm not meaning that as a flame or anything. Just an observation.
So this Institute studies phenomenas? Like whack jobs that think they're better than everyone else and happily advertise the fact on the WWW? If so I'd like to contribute and be on their bowling team. ;-)
G-d made us - and we guys are MADE to notice women - its to our credit that we do as well as we do - in terms of being faithful.
No. It's reality.
The ideal is that sports figures and rock stars would WAIT until the career winds down before thinking about marriage, but fate usually has other ideas.
We are not supposed to judge others, lest we be judged. I do not live in Ted's world -- a new city every tour night, zillions of women offering themselves, pressure and loneliness ... I can't conceive of it.
I won't judge him, God does that, eventually. But if I had a kid who wanted to be a rock or sports star my first piece of advice would be FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T GET MARRIED!
Every conceivable thought or practice known or unknown is studied and then aligned properly with the universe. Inside and outside of time...
Ironically enough, the bolded part of your statement is something the Institute is working on as we speak! Well in an altered form, but nonetheless it's accurate.
We will have to get together with Dr. Zoo and discuss this some day, and for sure get the bowling team together!
Do You Want Fries With That? Lyrics (Tim McGraw)
I thought that was your voice
I thought that was my car
Now we ain't ever met before
But I know who you are
You're living in my house
And I'm living in a tent
And don't laugh, this second job of mine
Is paying both our rents
You're out here buying Happy Meals
And I'm eating rice and pintos
You so much as crack a smile at me, man
I'll come through this here window
Well you took my wife
And you took my kids
And you took that life
That I used to live
My pride, the pool, the boat, my tools, my dreams, the dog, the cat
Yeah I think that's just about everything
Oh I almost forgot
Do you want fries with that?
Your ketchup's in the bag
And a check is in the mail
I hope your chicken's raw inside
And I hope your bun is stale
I'm supposed to tell you
"Please come back"
But how bout this instead?
I hope you both choke on a pickle
Man, that would tickle me to death
I don't know what you're waiting on
You're holding up the line
Oh man, you ain't got no change coming back
Are you out of your mind?
Well you took my wife
And you took my kids
And you took that life
That I used to live
My pride, the pool, the boat, my tools, my dreams, the dog, the cat
Yeah I think that's all there is
Do you want fries with that?
Well you took my wife
And you took my kids
And you took that life
That I used to live
My pride, the pool, the boat, my tools, my dreams, the dog, the cat
Yeah I think that about covers it
Do you want fries with that?
I'm sorry you guys are so sensitive. I wasn't attacking the child, just using the term that Shermane and Ted's other children have in all probability been giving him hell with.
I still stand by my original post, if I were one of Ted's teenage children, I'd want no part of this child. I'd blame and be mad as hell at old Daddy Ted for all the hurt and pain brought on the family, not the child. Still, I wouldn't want to suddenly play big brother to a 10 year old stranger, even if we did share a little DNA.
The boy is a innocent victim and Ted should be responsible for him, but because of the circumstances, he may have trouble bring a "new" half sibling into the family.
