Pure Bunk.......if they don't "check in" now what the heck makes you think they will later.....polly anna policies enforcing our borders does not work, will not work an never will. Just as paper laws don't stop crime, such a paperwork wall will not stop the illegal entry into this nation.........

Out of the 100 Californians who post on Free Republic none of us agree with each other or seldom.

There have been persistent rumors that Mexico harbors terrorists from Arab extremist groups, but both the foreign ministry and the interior ministry here have always denied them The phrase "persistent rumors" is sort of like the catch phrase, "seriousness of the charges".
They are both empty phrases expressing hyperbole and signifying nothing.

Without border control (north and south), I just don't see any victory over terror. Just my opinion. Understood, except how have we gone this long without an attack from terrorists who have crossed the border. IT doesn't add up.
I suspect passport control in Central America and Mexico has been monitored by us. Thus a trade-off of sorts.
