If it's an order on demand thing it's okay. Even if it isn't order on demand, there is a blocking function on cable so that you can block those channels.

HB(L)O has basicly turned into the Homosexual network aleady. Much of their tripe is either extreme leftist or Homosexual and I've been debating cutting the service. If these two new channels show up on my system, the decision will be made for me.

Yeah, but a lot of people might object to paying for it, even if it's blocked. If it was on-demand, I doubt there would be much demand.

"We will hold accountable companies who sponsor this type of offensive heavy-duty homosexual content,"

Just what kind of company would sponsor this kind of programming?

These networks are offensive to Islam, and they should feel the consequences.

Blocking? Sorry, I'm not going to support the cable company that puts this tripe on. I'll cut back as much as I can, to have just the bare essentials.

You know, the 70 to 90% of America who hates this stuff should just tell the cable companies to stuff it for a year or two. I think they just might come around.

Wildmon also sees potential for late-night programming on the networks to turn pornographic in nature.

It can't be pornographic if it is basic cable. FCC regulates that.

I would call BET's late-night programming pornographic in nature.

This type of programming invading cable reinforces the need for a la carte choices

Definitely, I could knock out several stations that way, including the MTV's etc.

Something tells me that Freud would have a field day with this. :-)

I believe the article said that Orbitz, Paramount, and Suburu are supporting Viacom's LOGO.

I'll never use Orbitz again and my new car won't be a Suburu after all.
