Ashes of Terri Schiavo buried 12 minutes ago
The remains of Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman whose fate sparked a highly politicized right-to-die battle, were buried on Monday in Florida, her husband's lawyer said.
The interment of Schiavo's ashes took place nearly three months after she died and five days after pathologists released results of an autopsy that showed her to have had massive brain damage and no hope of recovery. Her condition resulted from a collapse in 1990 that deprived her brain of oxygen.
The burial at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida, was held in the presence of her husband, Michael Schiavo, some of his brothers and a priest, attorney George Felos said in a brief statement.
The autopsy results supported court findings during a long legal battle between Schiavo's parents and her husband that she was in a persistent vegetative state, meaning she could not think or feel, pathologists who conducted the autopsy said last week.
The courts consistently supported Michael Schiavo's stance that his wife would not have wanted to live in this state and should be allowed to die.
Her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, believed she had some hope for recovery and fought for seven years to keep her alive in a campaign that attracted support from right-to-life activists, Christian evangelicals and the Vatican.

Bye, efj9992001."He's dead, Jim!"
"what about your Big Brother W waiting UNTIL 911 to acknowledge the multiple and unmistakable warnings of an impending attack by al Qaeda upon, an inside the homeland of the USA."
Yeah! We can all go out and celebrate! Terri's finally been put away for good, just like all disabled people who don't deserve to live! (They're such a drain on the limited fiscal resources of our society, and their continued existence pricks at the last shread of conscience in our culture of death, so away with them all!)
Why? Is it that difficult for you to resist clicking on to them?
Yep!
What a guy, every woman needs a loving husband like this....
He doesn't...look worse to me. But after all the hate and vitriol spewed at him, he should.
Despite the fact that it makes us (the Right) look like a bunch of law-breaking moonbats (IMHO).
I might have been a little sarcastic, but the idea that the autopsy doctor lied as part of some vast conspiracy is lunacy (again IMHO). It is our version of the DSM.
This isn't about "free speech." It is about protecting Conservative ideals -- some of which are respect for the Rule of Law and less Government interference.
This is Jim's house. If he, through the mods says, "no challenging pro-Schaivo posts," that is good enough for me, I guess.
Bootless hope. When innocents are murdered, there will always be a cohort here to yell like hell.
Bank that.
Don't click on the threads that you don't like....it's that simple!

Because it means the media et al will finally let this woman rest instead of using her to further their own agendas. I don't believe 1/100 of the people who claimed to care about her wellbeing actually did so.
"allowed to die..." ?????she wasn't allowed to die: she was killed by lack of food and water. my only comfort: Michael Schiavo will stand before his Maker one day who will dispense justice to him and all of his accomplices.
I thought Terri's remains were to be buried in PA in some "family plot"? Did Michael suddenly grow a heart? I'm glad to know Terri's remains are in Florida, so hopefully her family will have some way of paying their respects.
Michael was probably told it will help his movie deal.
I've often thought about this. I mean protest is the cornerstone of democracy but people who do so, whether they be from the right or left always come across as being so whiny. If there is a more masculine way to protest I guess people just don't do it.

The Murder and cover-up is complete. sad!
I did not get the memo on that...care to share?
Or it will help his book deal. I have a feeling not to many people are going to buy his book or see his pathetic movie!
PilloryHillary, who knows....
Out of curiosity, has a comprehensive list of conspirators in this grand conspiracy been compiled yet? While I can well imagine that the list must include hundreds, if not thousands of names, I'm curious to see who might show up on it.
