For the last century, many "progressive" intellectuals responsible for shaping the way Americans think about guns, corporations, the legal system, sex, and even their very history have been completely fabricating the facts, according to new blockbuster book by award-winning writer and producer Jack Cashill.
In "Hoodwinked: How Intellectual Hucksters Have Hijacked American Culture," Cashill shows that despite this massive fraud, the cultural establishment has "published, praised, promoted, and protected" these "intellectual hucksters" and their destructive fabrications.
Cashill says he could not believe his good luck when "pseudo-Indian and fabricator par excellence Ward Churchill" first made the news. Cashill had been looking for a handy way to personify intellectual fraud, he says, "in all its subversive, self-loathing glory," and there stood Colorado University's Professor Churchill – alas, the iceberg's proverbial tip.
For a century, reveals "Hoodwinked," so-called "progressive" writers and filmmakers – multiculturalists like Churchill and Alex Haley, sexual revolutionaries like Kinsey and Margaret Mead, quasi-Marxists like Noam Chomsky and Michael Moore, and radical naturalists like Paul Ehrlich and Rachel Carson – have been using falsehood and fraud as primary weapons in their assault on traditional American culture.
Fortunately, over the years an unconnected squad of literary detectives, anthropologists, scientists and historians has been picking off the frauds and their enablers one by one. Taken together, the work of these critics is devastating. Cashill's "Hoodwinked" synthesizes their dogged research and reveals the depth and breadth of the corruption at the very foundation of contemporary intellectual culture.

Haven't read it myself, but I nominate this book as least likely to make any assigned reading list at any university in the country (or world).
I have read the Ron Brown book and saw MegaFix - excellent work by Jack Cashill. What is amazing how this research is so completely ignored by the MSM, whom I am sure would want us all to know the truth......Right? ...... Right.....

I have nothing but contempt for all of these self-centered liberals who have done so much to falsify our great heritage. And....I don't think that enough of a spotlight has been trained upon this "poster boy" for that very process of deliberate erosion - Ward Churchill. He is an utter disgrace, and he should not be allowed to be bought off by U. Colorado.
I'd like to say that no conservative professor would have been allowed to pull off the despicable lies and misrepresentations that this man has done, but then no conservative professor would dream of doing it in the first place. We conservatives are just too honorable, IMO - with possibly a few scattered exceptions. No group or organization is 99 and 44/100ths % pure. . . . like the old Ivory soap commercial, but for veracity and loyalty to our principles, we put the liberals to shame. They don't have any principles to which they can be loyal, in the first place. Ruthless power grabs are not "principles;" - nor is selling out your country for political advantage.
Just keep your eye on Hillary Clinton from here on in, until we deal her a defeat the likes of which she has never suffered. She's an "intellectual huckster" to the nth degree and always has been. Talk about twisting history! That should have been the title of that piece of fiction from which she became wealthy. The title should have been: "TWISTING HISTORY!"

I am about a third of the way into it and while I expected I would approve of Jack's approach, I am very impressed with how he has grown as a writer and craftsman
