The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

They just had on some American "legal experts", all three of whom practically hooted at the idea that the parents' lawsuit would have the slightest chance of succeeding. Whether in Aruba or in the states, they all said no way.

The needle on the syringe looked to me to be about 3 1/2 inches long. They took my left hand and inserted the needle all the way between two fingers on the top of the hand. I believe it was between the index and middle finger, I only looked for a second. Then they withdrew quite a bit of blood. This was done after I got to the hospital. Nurse said that was how they took a , pulse-ox ?, reading. I believe that is the term she used. At least, that is what I remembered.

There is a McDonalds..just around the corner from Palm Beach Hotel Allegro... it is on the beginning of the road that leads from Palm Beach inward towards NOORD. Supposedly Joran lives in Montana (an area off NOORD.) I walked to Noord once from Palm Beach.. it is about a mile and half inland. BTW the Marriott is about 10 American blocks from the road in to NOORD. ...

They have brought suit against Aruba to release the evidence. This is not a suit for damages.

Time for a US Gov't official or two to launch a warning shot across Aruba's bow. A few well placed travel warnings-to-Aruba are in order.

Fox last night had a segment of the seed-ier side of Aruba. (prostitution, crack houses, etc.) Just the outside view of C&C's should have sent a warning flag up with the "chaperone crowd" (there for their own vactions due to reduced rates of the H.S. trip)

UPDATE 31:The media in Aruba today is mostly reporting that the detention of Steve Croes has been prolonged. He’ll be detained for at least 8 more days.Croes @ court house The picture is from the front page of AweMeinta and was taken while Croes, who had his face covered with his shirt, was being escorted into the court house. The local media is also reporting that the mother of Natalee Holloway, Beth, hired a local attorney to look into the case and that she hired an American organization, Texas EquuSearch, to help look for Natalee. According to FoxNews Beth Holloway is contemplating suing the Aruban government (the justice department in particular), but the local media of Aruba is not going as far a saying that nor is the Dutch media. The media in The Netherlands is also reporting that Beth wants to get insight in the case (documents) an that she hired an attorney to help her with this. They are not reporting that Beth wants to sue. Hasibokos.com has also learned that some political parties in Aruba, just as Beth Holloway, are criticizing their justice department. Earlier we informed you about the criticism that prime minister has been getting (Update29 ). On Monday local political party OLA gave a press conference during which they informed that they have compiled a document which contains a summary of the many mistakes that, in their opinion, have been made by the justice department during the treatment/investigation of the Holloway case. Many local are questioning the timing of this public criticism as the justice department of Aruba is already under a lot of pressure. The general opinion of the Aruban community is that this is not the time to be criticizing the justice department as there is too much attention right now on the Holloway case and this may lead to the broad (mis)conception that the Aruban justice system is flawed.
