Some case info to go along with this map...
(as far as I know this is all correct)

The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

I agree. Without Natalee's parents, I also believe the Security Guards would have been the scapegoats. It's chilling to imagine how terrified they must have been, while waiting for the truth to come out. I still remember the cries of the Mom, saying her son was innocent.

I would think that someone would tell the beach patrol person that a teenaged tourist missed their plane and is presumed missing, would be much better than, a teenage tourist is missing and presumed on a FLING!

If the addresses run like they do in the states. Then the single digit street addresses would be near the beginning of the road. So low numbers will be near the Marriott.

I found other addressses for the island on the same road. Like a Grocery Store that has the street # in the 1000's. You won't find a Grocery Store near a heavy hotel strip, so the grocery store would be passed all the hotels and "south" on the map.

I'm not one of the two you addressed, but I heard the comment about the Tattoo docking at 3am and it gave me the creeps. They showed a photo/video of the Tattoo tonight on Greta's show. Did you see it and notice the small boat that appeared to be docked to the Tattoo? It was out on the water.

I wondered if that small boat is always with the Tattoo??? Perhaps the DJ has access to the small boat??

Earlier it was reported, that the Tattoo didn't go out on the night of Natalee's disappearance, but who knows if that is true.

I heard the party boat was docked near the Marriot, which is one of the places where the 2 guys said they dropped off Joran. It's the area where a big search was done sometime last week - where the underwear, and stuff was found.

Could be ... and there was a search conducted near the bird sanctuary, which appears to be near the Aruba Grand and McDonald's.

(iirc, the panties were found just north of the Mariott.)

Joran v d Sloot: A Contrast In Character

Following up on a story by Steve Huff of The Dark Side, having reviewed certain records, including text and images, which cannot be made public as they involve minors not implicated in this case, it does seem apparent that 17 year old high school senior Joran v d Sloot walked a strange and wide line between man and boy.

Apparently, at the same time 6'4" school athelete was said to be a proficient gambler frequenting the clubs and casinos in Aruba, he was also known to have had an apparent romantic involvement with a 7th grade girl of thirteen until her parents learned of the relationship and made their daughter break off the relationship back in March.
