Thanks so much for this. The media can never hide nor make us forget this savage attack on our country. I could never forget, nor will our family who lost a dear husband on this day at the WTC. And thanks to the FReepers that posted some good links to tributes. We will never forget. God bless all those who perished and those brave souls who gave their lives to save lives. I highly recommend the DVD "9-11 Inside", the ONLY footage from inside the towers on that day ( also has the footage of the first plane hitting the towers). One of the more moving and horrifying parts are when you HEAR the bodies landing outside the towers as they impact. A sound never to be forgotten. Never.

After the NYC attack, I first learned of the Pentagon attack as it happened "live" since I was on the phone at the time with someone who saw it hit. I remember thinking if the heart of our defense has been hit, what/who will it be in the next hour? I remember calling Mr. HR and saying that whatever happens, we'll do our best to meet at home. I CANNOT BELIEVE I--AN AMERICAN WAS MADE TO FEEL THAT VULNERABLE. How dare they try to get me to forget.

I was listening to Laura Ingraham the other morning and she had a women on who is a journalist (I believe) I forgot her name. Anyway she was telling about the 911 Memorial and how there has been appointed a committee to come up with what to put in the Memorial.

They decided on a theme of WHAT MAN HAS DONE TO HUMANITY. She said they are going to put in stuff about how the Americans treated the Indians, and how we treated the Japanese/Americans, etc. BUT NOTHING ABOUT WHAT THE ISLAMISTS TERRORISTS DID TO US ON 911.
