The Starbucks where Mary Mahoney was murdered.
And?
The Starbucks I go to isn't like that at all, because it's a tiny little place inside an office building. People show up to get their coffee, chat with the employees for 30 seconds, and get back to work. No poofy chairs to sit in.
Starbucks- where government payrolled liberals spend our tax money on high priced sugar and caffeine fixes.
The nice thing about Stabucks is that if you don't like one store, you can always go the other Starbocks across the street. 8>)
Houston, Texas is a bit different...depending on area...in regard to the client base for starbucks.
They sale the local paper too, which isnt much better than the NYT. Fortunate thing is...both papers sit...no one buys them.
I find the SB's in Houston to be pretty much OK, at least down here in the south part of the metro, though the least pretentious seem to be at the Borders bookstore locations. You'd think the opposite...
The picture doesn't come thru and there is no history given on the subject you mention.
Who is Mary Mahoney and what happened to her at the Starbucks in the picture that is not visible?
mary mahoney
Does Starbucks know that they can sell regular coffee as well? I went in there once for a coffee and when I saw the "frappa rappa dappa latte crappa" that was it for me, I was out of there. Starbucks reminds me of Oprah, absoutely nothing there but for some mysterious reason they make a hell of a lot of money.
I shall have to test your theory.
Hsve you tried the Chantico yet? Oh, my LORD.
the 2 Starbucks I have been in here in Ohio (both in Columbus), dont seem that bad....
....Starbucks- where government payrolled liberals spend our tax money on high priced sugar and caffeine fixes......
also where Hillary had a wittness exterminated.
well, obviuosly, the starbucks has been torn down and replaced with a red "x" and two intersecting lines since this has been posted ... if you want to know about mary, click in the 'downside legacy' html in #1
My Starbucks has a drive-through, and I rarely go inside.
The ONLY reason I've ever had for going to an SB is in the event of a casual date.
I don't get standing in line for coffee, let alone overpriced coffee.
I`m suprised they admit Mary was shot by someone else and not given the usual Arkacide reason of suicide. I remember reading about another Arkancide who dared cross the Clintonazis path, this one woman who was pregnant and was ruled a suicide even though she had a shot to the back of her head. I bet if you go through every suicide by gunshot over the past 50 years, you will never find a suicide where the person shot themselves in the back of the head, but because she had some connection to the Clintons, it`s all accepted and brushed under the rug.
I also didn't mention my annoyance with the way Starbucks is turning into a mini-music store. Not that I mind them selling CDs but they never have anything normal there. It's always this soft-rock, easy-listening "critics favorite" crap like Alanis Morissette or some unlistenable jazz compiliation that was "culled" out of some rock star's personal collection. It's as if all the CDs are hand-picked by the same judges who hand out those Grammy awards.
My W sticker was keyed at the Borders on West Alabama...but then that's enemy territory.
The Rice, Memorial Drive (inside the loop) and Montrose area SB's are where the ideologically sad are...
