Spread the word!!
TAKE BACK THE MEMORIAL RALLY
Dear Families, Friends and Supporters:
For three long years we have played by the rules as set forth by Governor Pataki, Mayor Bloomberg and the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. It got us nowhere.
We want a proper, fitting and respectful September 11th Memorial for the 3,000 innocent souls who perished that day. Not a history lesson about tolerance.
The planners of the World Trade Center Memorial have been put on notice that we are going over their heads to make our case to the American people. Please join us for a press conference to kick off our national campaign to enlist the American people in a Fight for Ground Zero. Our loved ones deserve no less.
WHAT: PRESS CONFERENCE & RALLY
WHEN: 12:00 Noon, Monday, June 20, 2005 (Please arrive at 11:45 am)
WHERE: Ground Zero at the Corner of Church & Liberty (rain or shine)
REMEMBRANCE: Please wear black or yellow to symbolize unity, or wear clothing that symbolizes your loved ones affiliation and bring a picture of your lost loved one to hold over your heart.

Okay, chapter members. Never forget 9/11. Special thanks to rmlew for getting this onto Free Republic. Please ping your lists. Get the day off or call in sick. Just Be There!
. . . and other DC freepers: Can you get up here for this one?
I will be there. I live in New Jersey.
Is there anything I can/should bring, besides what is mentioned in the post? Is there anything that you know of that I can do to help?
Good luck FB, wish we were on the East coast to help out with this one!
If I get a job interview on Monday, I'll definately be there at the rally. I jost lost my job and don't have the money like I used to. I suppose being unemployed does qualify me as an official democrat protestor ;-)

I don't know if you are on firebrand's ping list. Just in case you aren't...you might be interested or be able to spread the word to other interested folk.

Bring an American flag on a cardboard dowel if you can. Most important: ping your own e-mail lists right away. This is short notice. Let's get the bodies there.
Thank you, Bob. This is one of the most important rallies we've taken part in in a long time, although they're all important. Outrageous the way the Left thinks it can boomerang even 9/11 at America.
If you can get here, I'll buy you lunch. (Good luck with job search.)
New York State. Some of you are receiving duplicate pings or may have already seen this. I'm just trying to make sure no one hears about this too late to attend if possible.
I will be there in spirit. As you know, New York is my place of birth and where I grew up.
Besides, this should concern ALL Americans. Those who hijacked the memorial are anti-American scum. I will spread the word through my organization (Tucson Republican Women) and encourage everyone to call our representatives and senators about this issue.
Thank you for posting this, sweetie.
You are most welcome! Wish you could be here.
Connecticut: Road trip?
New Jersey, please join us. Still time to tell the boss you won't be in on Monday.
I know it's far for you, Pennsylvania folks, but what a worthy cause. Let's make this a rally that can't be ignored!
Can't be there. NYC is too far from me to attend. Though I have used the website to write to Pataki, the commission, Bloomberg and the WH....
