I used to really admire Ron Paul and his libertarian independence. But somewhere along the road, he forked and fell over a cliff.

I still like Ron Paul, I don't really agree with him on this issue but I don't agree with anyone 100% of the time.

I don't know too many Libertarians, influenced or otherwise, that support war of any kind. There is a tendency toward strong views where self defense is concerned, but anything that involves government,well....

I too, but recently heard him speaking on the floor and he was an idiot relative to our war against the Islamic terrorist.

People like this and Dick Durbin calling our troops a bunch of Nazi's make me sick. This is exactly what happend during the Vietnam War and we all know how that turned out.
I am so mad at Dick Durbin and could spit nickles. How much has anyone of you heard about his speech on the MSM? I never watch it, so I don't know.

I agree, but to pick an date for our military to exit Iraq and then announce it to the world is well, careless, stupid and foolish. I really question his rationale.

It's the Libertarians who always say that smoking marijuana is harmless.

Hooking up with Kucinich pretty well confirmed it.

I thought about voting for the Libertarian Party. However after the 2004 election (they seemed more interested in wanting Kerry to win) and now this (the former Presidental Candidate of the LP Ron Paul), I will never vote for them period..

These people see America(and her western Judeo-Christian culture) as inherently evil.

It's American liberal/left self-loathing on parade.

The Libertarian Party had some well made commercials that were on in what I think were fairly expensive markets and timeslots in 2004. They've never been that well financed.

Soros?
