Excellent article. Agree with it all. I'm always thought of the MSM as terrorist because undermining the US in time of war is that act. We have quite a group of Senators that fit the bill also.

Excellent description of the current situation. The lamestream media can write their articles, simply leaving blanks to fill in with the cause de'jure. "The Bush Administration was attacked today by Congressional Democrats for ______________________".
Rinse and repeat.

Saw a roundtable where Col. Peters declared the media has assumed the posture of an enemy and the Pentagon has to find a way to deal with it.
The Pentagon should have its own TV network and wire service. They should be fair, balanced and non-ideological. Given the communication capabilities of the US military, they will be head and shoulders above the MSM. They will have standards and those standards will be enforced.
Once they are in place there's no reason for embedded reporters or press conferences. They are the enemy. Let them exploit the hospitality of our enemies. Do you think a lot of them would be willing to risk their lives to feed on the lies of a Baghdad Bob?
This would work because the American public trust the military more than any other organization they've been asked about. Journalists are down near the bottom.

Let's get this straight: Nothing we could do would appease those who feel a need for our country to fail. We must stop trying to satisfy them AMEN ... totally ... completely ... "W" could announce the second coming of Christ ... the finding of the cure for all illness ... and the fountain of youth ... and these idiots would complain. So STOP kissing their collective asses

We would have been better off building an interrogation facility on Diego Garcia or some other "unreachable" locale where reporters never tread and interrogators can do their thing with gusto on these ba$tards. I certainly don't disagree with what we're doing at GITMO, but I think DoD should be doing this outta sight, outta mind.
There may have been some benefit early on of displaying GITMO for the purpose of screwing with AlQaeda's mindset and getting into their decision cycle, but I'm not sure the benefit of that will outweigh the crap we're taking over GITMO and what is being portrayed by leftists as torture.

That's pretty much what the Bush administration has been saying. The simple fact is, it's not enough for these America haters.
The only good thing to come out of all this is that the American people are getting a good, hard look at what these people are.
