Yesterday President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney and their wives attended a Congressional Picnic at the White House.

Today President Bush attended National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast at Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C along with members of Congress and former Cabinet Minister Tom Ridge.

The President also voiced doubts over the elections taking place in Iran “The June 17th presidential elections are sadly consistent with this oppressive record. Iran's rulers denied more than a thousand people who put themselves forward as candidates, including popular reformers and women who have done so much for the cause of freedom and democracy in Iran.“

Later in the day he spoke about Medicare at the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington.

It was also announced that the President will welcome Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Ja'afari to the White House on June 24, 2005

Vice-President Dick Cheney was due to meet Canadian Agriculture Minister Doug Horner first on the “menu” was said to be discussions regarding reopening the border to Canadian cattle.

Well it was 8 years ago now. I said on the American side at a motel which was part of the Scottish Inns group. I was disappointed in the American side in as much it seemed very run down a lot of old factories that just seemed to have been abandoned.

I did not have a concept of what Niagara was going to be like I just imagined the falls not anything else. The Canadian side I loved the flowered clock and park in general.

We also went up one of towers at night and watched the lights on the falls which was lovely.

Yes we did go on the Maid of the Mist and that was wonderful I still have my plastic mac and I took loads of photos one day when I get my scanner working I will post some of them as this was pre me having a digital camera.

Though my passport has expired it is still one of my most treasure possessions because it has my Egyptian visa and a stamp with Niagara on it.

Your Pastor Dan sounds like a wise man.

My husband and I have often talked about the spiritual dimension of marriage, and said that without it, the depth just wouldn't be there. And that includes every part of being married.

That's why the First Couple is so special. You know that they have that spiritual dimension to their marriage..........which I'm sure is why they have spoken so often about how their marriage is strengthening in spite of the stress in their lives.

God is blessing their commitment to HIM, and to each other.

It's just COOL, that's all!
