Weren't they free for 10 days? Hopefully they were tracked with GPS in the car and had cell phones tapped as reported and they have a lot info we're just not going to be privvy to, as the Arubans are strictly maintaining their own rules about what they release or even discuss. My bet is that our FBI are merely in a standby position and at the whim of the Arubans .. and having to operate strictly within polite protocols .. no sayso.

Natalee's poor Mother knows this first hand.That should be reassuring to any American parent who wants to send their child there.

Aruba has been very touchy about being branded "unsafe," etc. because of their dependency on tourism. But, with all this Keystone Cops investigation, hidden information, what appears as cover-ups and sloppy police work, who would want to go there now? Had they handled this properly from the beginning, maybe their image would not be as tarnished as it is becoming.

They are doing the best job of turning people against visiting their island. That is the only thing they seem to be doing well.

They didn't advise him of his rights. At some point during questioning, he asked for an attorney. They should have stopped there. Instead, they continued the next day.

The Dutch kid pointed at them. But it is interesting, on the islands where I have been and I have been on alot, racism doesn't get talked about. Race relations are very good, intermarriage happens, everyone is comfortable with each other. So I doubt the Mother thought it was a racial thing. It was convenient for them. I think if the sec guards were white they would have been accused.
