TAMPA, Fla. - The medical examiner's office plans to release its autopsy report Wednesday on Terri Schiavo findings her family hopes will shed light on the cause of the collapse that left her severely brain-damaged 15 years ago.
Schiavo, 41, died March 31, nearly two weeks after the feeding tube that had kept her alive was removed under a court order obtained by her husband, Michael Schiavo.
Her death ended a bitter legal battle between Michael Schiavo, who said his wife did not want to be kept alive artificially, and her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, who disputed doctors' finding that she was in a vegetative state and insisted she could improve with therapy.
Terri Schiavo's brother, Bobby Schindler, said Tuesday his family is eager to see if the report indicates what went wrong when her heart stopped beating for several minutes in 1990.

It has taken this long because the fix is in.
The Pinellas ME refused to let the Schindlers have a expert witness at the autopsy. He basically said nobody doublechecks his work.
By this he has practically ensured controversy over the autopsy.
And the *WHOLE* state of Florida is in on "the fix". Let my family have the courage to carry out my wishes and let me *DIE* !!!
Scumbag Democrats, may they all rot in Hell!
I'm with you on that. This Culture of DisrespectTM of people's rights is ridiculous. A person's own wishes, preferences, rights should come before "life at all costs"...IMO. Plus, let's keep the government out of marriages.
While the Democratic Party may be the prime residence of scumbags, I regret to inform that the prime scumbags in the Schiavo case were Republicans.
Civilized people don't starve their weak members to death.
If you want to return to such barbarities, go join a primitive tribe on some Pacific isle or something.
Or move to Florida, I guess...
To suggest otherwise is pure foolishness...
SW,
Thanks for posting this. From the WWWTheEmpireJournal.com
Front Page story about the autopsy report being released today, there was a link where you could order a copy of the autopsy report mailed to you. Terri Died March 31,2005. at http://www.co.pinellas.fl.us/forensics/Autopsy_Request/autopsy_request.htm,
The Schiavo autopsy report tomorrow (actually today now) will be the last nail in the coffin (pardon the pun) for the Schiavo supporters, as it will show that their disgusting accusations of murder by the husband will be put to rest (pardon another pun). Then life for the rest of us normal people can blissfully go on, minus the continual Shiavo rants that occupied so much space on so many threads. Can hardly wait till tomorrow and thus the Shiavo "case" is over and done with. Blessed be the day.
That's one co-equal right/principle...not "the primary" founding principle. None of them have primacy.
In a nation whose primary founding principle is respect for the inalienable right to life, suicide can never be approved.
We have an inalienable right to free speech. Does that mean you'd send in the Federales to force me to exercise it?
We have an inalienable right to keep and bear arms. Does that mean I am not allowed to set down my guns?
We have an inalienable right to life. Does that mean I'm not allowed to give it up?
Society may not be able to stop every one, but it should never put its stamp of approval on it.
Maybe you'd not call in the Federales...maybe you'd just have society try to coerce my political views out of me...they should never put their stamp of approval on silence...right? Why have privacy measures when we vote?
Sorry, but your views are in direct contradiction with our Bill of Rights. Free Speech implies Free No-Speech. Right to Life implies Right to Death.
True. We should allow more civilized methods of deliverance.
Pinnellas county is not the WHOLE state of Florida. Get a map. By the way in case you did not know her family tried to carry out her wishes but the governemnt and her lousy husband thought they knew her better.
Oh, don't be too sure...some already have the tinfoil ready--the "don't confuse me with facts; I have my mind made up" crowd will be claiming it is false. But hopefully it will clarify things for the more rational folks. And perhaps there are some legitimate criticisms of the autopsy procedure.
So will they sell our e-mail addresses like the Schindler fiasco?
Wrong.
Without life, all other rights have no meaning; no further chance for expression.
Look up the meaning of inalienable...
