I'm with you on that. This Culture of Disrespect^TM of people's rights is ridiculous. A person's own wishes, preferences, rights should come before "life at all costs"...IMO. Plus, let's keep the government out of marriages.

Society may not be able to stop every one, but it should never put its stamp of approval on it. And the government of we the people has every right to 'intrude into families', if one family member intends to murder another.
