Rodriguez(foreman) on Larry King, getting soft ball questions.
Maybe someone could make a live thread for the repeat of Nancy Grace's show.

I would suspect that judges would be likely to fall into the same mindset as many police officers -- since they spend all day, every day, seeing the dregs of humanity, they can get a skewed and pessimistic view about humanity on the wholeSome do, some don't. I don't have a hard time with judges who, even though they have seen it all, still weigh the evidence fairly. That is about all one can ask.
Fortunately, in my jurisdiction, State of Illinois, we can "bounce" one judge without cause, so you can at least try to avoid the "all prosecution" ones. Again, all one really wants is an independent and fair judgment of the evidence.

As a victim of child abuse, just emotional and physical myself, its just not possible for a child to testify consistently about abuse. Your brain spends most of its time telling you it just can't be true it happened. What those jurors expected from that victim was just not humanly possible.

Shame on Bob Massi for speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He was on TV last week convinced MJ would be convicted of something. He said the accuser's video tape was powerful but today suffers a memory loss. Plenty of back peddling today, beginning with Catherine Crier.

When did Massi get his teeth whitened?

Just looked at that poll, now it's 52% think he's not guilty, 48% think he is. I guess DU is voting en masse.

I agree with you. We have been hearing about how uncredable the witnesses against Jackson have been all through this and people are stunned. People here should be the first to say that you are innocent until proven guilty. That is what the American justice system is all about. No one here sat on the jury. They just want to convict someone just because it is a terrible crime he was accused of and they want to see Jackson go down no matter if he is guilty or not. I have seen this mentality around here too much. No one can even claim the jury decision was race biased because all the jurors were white. There are a lot of people here that I would not want to sit on a jury.
From what I have been hearing the prosecutor has been putting forth all kinds of frivolous material that has cost both sides a lot of money. One example was putting a boy on the stand as a victim who then said that he was not only a victim, but that he was never even asked by the prosecution if he was a victim before being put on the stand. For crap like that the prosecutor should be sued because that purely shows that he was not interested in the truth, but only in the win. And that is unethical. The prosecutor should be barred from practicing law for doing something like that.

"I agree with you and will share in the beating you are taking."
Thanks. I see it as a beating by an emotional mob; proof that justice needs juries not mobs.

It can be done. I convicted a guy of subornation of perjury (acquitted at his first trial) by the subsequent testimony of the perjurer herself, a witness I did not even have authority to compel to testify. Sounds like you did a good job. Doing a case like that isn't too easy. I bet you had to put in plenty of hours of prep time.

He can attract millions of fans in Countries all over the world. He is still a potentially huge moneymaker, just not here in America. He will have gigs lined up within weeks. He will become fit and ready to get back his fortune, but unless the creepy family members put a lockbox on all his sexual organs he will piss it away again on payoffs to his victims.

"Michael Jackson ADMITTED he sleeps with boys regularly."
Define "sleep". He did not say that he had sex with boys. He did not say that he fondled them. What he did say was that they slept in the same room, as in a slumber party.
Michael ahs some emotional issues that relegates his actions to that of a 12 year old boy, himself, but perversion hasn't been proven, nor admitted as your statement takes out of context to mean.
My cat sleeps on my bed, but try telling a jury I sex my cat because it sleeps with me in the bedroom. (Besides, he's part Bobcat. Won't work so well, vicious creature!)

Correction:
One example was putting a boy on the stand as a victim who then said that he was not only NOT a victim, but that he was never even asked by the prosecution if he was a victim before being put on the stand.

"This jury is a prime example why the jury system need to be tossed out. Trial by bench (judge) is the only hope.
"
Yeah, that'll do it. Throw out We the People and replace guilt by government agents only. Fair trials for all. Right. Public wants you hung, you're hung.
You have no evidence to base your claim Jackson was guilty, only emotional sound bites.
