I wish I could get my hands on that little thing--would be worth bleeding! LOL!
lonestar
Thank you.
Awwww... He's so cute!
you know the door is always open here & you have friends whose shoulders you can cry on & to whom you can scream off some frustrations and give us brief updates as the time permits.
You will need respite & hopefully can find a few minutes every now & then to just say hello & be cheered by the great graphics etc.
We will be praying for you Freeper sister...
Mr. Mayor, and all the Finest ... may this Monday be fair and lucky for us all.
May it be safe and successful for all our men and women in uniform who lay themselves on the line to keep us safe and sound.
Thanks. We sure think so. I am totally wrapped around his little paw. As wolfie told me, Chachi is going to be running the house in a few months. He's right. LOL!!
(Looks like he already likes the camera - you may have the makings of a Puppy Chow commercial) :)
Yep, he'd make a perfect Puppy Chow commercial, if we could get him to stay still for half a second. LOL
Awwwww......thanks, Dolly. We do feel like proud parents. It is just like having a new baby in the house. Everything revolves around "baby". LOL
Good morning, errrrr, sorry afternoon!
That is very nice, Smartass. Beautifully done, with a very touching prayer. Thanks for posting it here.
He got called back after 24 years?! Wow! That is a major sacrifice and he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Wonderful! Good luck!! Prayers up for you to win.
Oh, he is so precious and tiny. Shadow said hmmmmmmm, arf.
Thank you Maggie. You are right, it is very moving and brings tears to the eyes.
GOD love them and guide, every Coastie, Sailor, Flyboy, Soldier and Marine out there
Amen
Thanks. Yes, he is a precious, cuddly, little bundle of puppy fur.....only about one pound at this point, but he thinks he is big stuff and he has a BIG yowl to prove it.
He will probably only get to be about 5-6 pounds when he's full grown....but he has aspirations of being a rough and tumble "junk yard dog" when he grows up. LOL! ;-)
No, El Gato, not "called" back - -
they pleaded "Pretty Please, would you serve again?"
Reading between the lines, they quietly must be summoning
all the eyes and ears possble to deal with the terrorists...
I understood. A voluntary "call back", but still. I hope they bumped him up a few ranks at least. Was his civilian occupation in any way related? Maybe they'd take me back? I can't be much older, and it's only been 20 years since I last wore the uniform, albeit as a reservist. I was even in Intell, kinda sorta. Technical Intell, not much use for that. However my "stuff", that I helped design and build probably got a work out in the early phases of Iraqi Freedom, and the guys trained using a system I also helped design and build are no doubt standing watch in the sky, at home and abroad.
Absolutely, positively not related...they seem to be systematically going through discharged Intel field rolls, tapping ones who might be used in particular areas - I have no idea how extensive/deep his former work was, but obviously they considered him quite "useful."
As to your query about a re-up, I hear objections from the peanut gallery --
"But, Gaga - I just got borned, and yew're gonna LEAVE ME??!!"
(imagine little lip trembling--tears overflowing from her eyes!)
Miss Victoria definitely needs you...:))
In [XXXXX's}}} case, his one son at home is mostly grown.
My assessment is you are quite useful to America in what you are doing now, anyway..:))
How proud you must be of your son Maggie. I will keep him in my prayers.
