It's because they don't consider the 'Islamist movement' an enemy. The only enemy to the left is Christianity. Maybe in 50-100 years they'll take on Islam. It's just not as big a threat as of yet.

Well .. 2006 is a good time to make the dems pay with a whole bunch of lost seats in the House and the Senate.

Dean might be a crazy-@ss, but beware. It makes Hillary look all the more moderate. It's been done before - it's a tactic.

I think that would happen only of they were two random Democrats who weren't otherwise connected. But being that he's the head of her party, it's more likely that her image will be closely tied to his. He'll be the crazy albatross hanging around her neck.
