And there are many women who are happy they had their abortionsSpeaking for yourself or the other 20 million American women who have had abortions or both?

Supports of Abortion are liberal in orientation.
- Liberals never support the death peanalty
- Liberals never support a war
- Liberals do support abortion for most any reason
- Liberals do not hold others and by implication themselves accountable
I infer that liberals:
- Liberals under socialism or communism have killed more people than capitalists
- Liberals support abortion because it is their very nature to act as Gods
- Liberals hate religon because it puts God before man, as opposed to socialism/communism that puts Government/Man before humanity
- Liberals commit abortion becasue they "feel" more emotion and act on theise emotions, e.g., hate, love, etc.
- Liberals commit abortion because they are incapable of putting others before themselves
- Liberals commit abortion because they as Gods themselves must kill to have their way
- Liberals are born once and die twice; yet Christians are born twice and die once. It is this lack of hope that drives their hatred of themselves and humanity!
Musings, ramblings, insanity from one who hopes to be right and not left wrong:)

When Planned Parenthood estimates that 43 percent of women will have abortions before they turn 45 years old This is a huge lie to conceal the real statistics. Some women have many abortions, the vast majority have none.
Some women use abortion as their primary means of birth control.

Here's the thing...women who have been hurt by their abortions (or so they say, it is a convenient excuse for problems in their lives), tend to talk about it, obviously. Those who just go on with their lives and are fine with it don't haev the need to talk about it. I say those women are the majority.

From my experience with post-abortive women, their reactions are varied and can begin shortly afterward or be delayed, sometimes for years. Briefly, they can have difficulty forming attachments to people, to their other children, if they have them, and also can have trouble trusting themselves. The reaction can be triggered by the anniversary of the abortion or recognition of the estimated birthday of the child, as well as many other things like merely being around a baby or a child who is the age the one who was aborted would be. Sorry to be so brief, there are many more things to list and I apologize for just posting a snippet. Most of the women I work with say they would never have another one (if they didn't regret it, I don't think they would say that) and those who say they would do it again are pretty stoic, and IMHO sad women.

Women who have had abortions suffer an increased risk of anxiety, depression, and suicide.
SShhh, this is PP's dirty little secret they don't want you to find out. I had to do an internship due my OB rotation in nursing school. Never once was adoption offered as an option to the pg teens.
To: Hildy
Not in the slightest.
I'm just amused at how often I see you trolling and posting pro-death remarks where ever you see a pro-life perspective.
It looks like you can't stand to let others see the
truth, without weighing in.

It's more like 50 million lives lost, so I guess
that would be the same number of women struggling
with post-abortion issues, whether physical, mental
or spiritual - or all 3.

Don't you think it's much more interesting to debate all sides of an issue than to just cheerlead? I think it's important to hear all sides of an issue.

This article had both sides since she had been a "pro-choice" woman and is explaining why that is a lie.

Why must you be so insulting. I made a comment. And it's a valid one. You might like it, but there are many, many who agree with me. Roe v. Wade will never be overturned. Why take that out on me?

Don't be so self assured. God is still on the throne
and when His wrath flows for the innocent blood that
has been shed, watch out!
You might want to ponder about that.
He is patient and slow to anger but . . .

you didn't ask me, but...
Abortion is a traumatizing experience and no woman is left untouched by it, to some degree. I have worked with women who suffered from depression and anxiety (PTSD) symptoms many years later. One was in a nursing home and she had led a life of bitterness and isolation for decades after aborting her only pregnancy, back in the 1940's.

I happen to know of one woman who has had seven abortions and will not practice contraception because she is afraid of the hormone additives to her hormonal system. Well, she had her seventh abortion (all were done prior to reaching the third month of pregnancy) and then had her uterus removed due to scarring and endometriosis. She developed brat's cancer two years ago, in her early forties. I've not heard what has followed since. In fairness to full information, her family does have a history of breast cancer, though it tends to show up in the late fifties with the other women in her family.
What this 'debate' comes down to is the reality of the alive, gestating unborn ... are they humans at an early age and thus abortion purposely kills an innocent human, or are they mere tissue masses 'with potential to become human beings'? THAT is the heinous dichotomy of abortion on demand ... science says the gestating life is a human being at an early age in a lifetime already begun at conception. Secular humanism says it doesn't matter if the one giving life support wants to terminate the relationship, thus empowering women in this secular/god-slapping way. When science provides a dependable artificial womb for transferring these young humans for continued life support, what do we suppose the argument will transmogrify into to continue the slaughtering empowerment?

I used to be pro-choice. I was young, had a good grasp of the human sciences. I was willing to buy that the unborn were relatively under developed, nobody ever put any effort into teaching otherwise.
I changed my mind in one night. I was working as a secretary for a med/surg unit in a hospital.
Labor and delivery was packed to the gills. Had a lady come into er she was in labor with a 5month old dead baby.
We delivered her on my unit. I had to wrap the baby for photographs and take it to lab.
5 Months old about 16 ounces. Perfect down to eyelashes and fingernails.
20 weeks, not viable but it is a human baby not a collection of tissues.
