It sounds as if the body is still at the location, bio-father requested to be taken out to the location.
Now FOX says there is no body recovery effort underway.
Bio-Mother says she has not been told there is a recovery effort underway.
Aruba Prime Minster confirms that Natalee is dead.
That's what FNC is saying 18.
sounds like it is turning into a circus....well actually check that, it IS already a circus....
I thought FOX said it was out by that lighthouse. They said the parents were being taken to the scene. I hope they were not going to view the body out their. After 13 days in the open, it would not be a pretty sight. They should not see their daughter like that.

Bio-father seems to have more information than the Bio-mother does.
On another site it was said that van der Sloot had gotten into a shoving match with one or more of Natalie's classmates.
I heard it too. They said it more than once, that Natalee was 17.
If it were my daughter or sister, wife, etc, I would put a .357 magnum slug in the perp's eye.
I had been starting
to think she'd gone off with boys,

Sounds like some officials are trying to the suspects asses while others are releasing information. If not for the spotlight of the media on this situation, it would have been swept under the rug.
Just switched over to MSNBC and they are playing the three as innocent victims of a mishandled investigation.

Natalee's father is retired special ops, so he had connections in DC, which is why the feds jumped on this case so fast. Thank God.

In the latter 80's, I spent a week vacationing on Aruba. Even though I was with my sister, her husband and my husband, I felt safe almost anywhere on the island going around by myself. The place you had to be most aware of your surroundings was at the different hotel bars where the coke dealers hung out. They were always looking for tourists to sell their wares to. Oh, and on the roads because there were lots of goats and they had the right of way.
Even then, I felt safe. I haven't been on the net very much recently but this story caught my eye since I'd been there.
We rented a car and drove all over the island so saw some of the places most tourists don't ever see. The island itself isn't very pretty but the water is gorgeous and we took one of the day trips offered. I don't know where they found the jungle like cove where we ate home made sausage and beans. On the same excursion we did some scuba diving around the wreck, learned about Aruba's history and spent a good 8 hours sailing on the good side of the island.
During one of our mini-road trips, we found what we named 'flip-flop' beach since it looked to be the place where all of the flip flop shoes ever lost in the Gulf of Mexico and along the East Coast found their way there.
Sorry for reminiscing. The Aruba I remember is different than the one now. Heck, then you didn't have to watch your purse because it was safe and now...murder.
My prayers go out to her family and I hope they give the murderers full justice.
If the girl wasn't American, these punks may have gotten away with framing the security guards.
The media speculation is out of control these days. It makes it hard to know what's real news and what's garbage.
